The opposition is getting all excited about impeachment. Enabling bribery and other high crimes are what they are using to tell a tale. They do have a lot on their plate. They have to first go help Trump with his legal issues and then somehow convict Biden of bribery and other high crimes that will impeach him. Yeah that is what law and order is all about.
The paradox facing them is can they save Trump from his self inflected legal problems or go after Biden as everyone know what payback is. There can only be one.
Republican created ( weaponization of the federal government). Go after Biden or go save Trump.
Do they have the votes.
Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) said he’s not sure what evidence the House might have but pointed to the “pretty high standard” for impeachments:
Senate Republican Conference Chair John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) was more polished in expressing his coolness to Huddle: “The people in Wyoming certainly don’t want Joe Biden as president. They also don’t want Kamala Harris taking over.
Might be the elephant in the room.
Democrats in senate have enough vote to acquit. So if it worked for Trump then it will work for Biden.
But they need this show and tell drama to appease their voters.
The problem is yeah some believe Biden to be guilty and others will be saying "show me the evidence"
This should galvanize the democratic base for round two.
Still a deal could be cut. if they accept Kamala Harris as Madam President. Then they should get Hilary as VP and it will be all girls in the white house.
be careful for what you wish for
