the greatest tv series ever

Will "The Equalizer" with Denzel as Robert McCall SUCK???

  • Bet it will, yeah. Look what Nic Cage in 2006 did to the protagonist role in "The Wicker Man".

I didn't know a movie based on that was planned.

I watched the series starring Edward Woodward when it was on tv in the 80's.
It was great !

I don't think Denzel will do a bad job with the part, but I won't be able to keep from comparing it to the series.

I couldn't possibly agree with you more, Suze.

is Denzel going to play Robert McCall or someone different?...

Jack Black is playing Robert McCall.

Denzel is just playing a janitor in the NYC penthouse where McCall lives.

The Wire
Dexter
Sopranos
Oz
Stargate SG1
Heroes
Star Trek TNG
Sons of Anarchy
Gilligan's Island

No particular order. If they were on right now, I would watch it.

Upstairs/Downstairs.

Downton Abbey.

Lark Rise to Candleford.

Deadwood.

Rome.

The Sopranos.

The Wire.

Mad Men.

The Borgias.

Breaking Bad.

Unfortunately, the OP title had nothing to do with the thread subject.

Yeah — unfortunately for you.

I am myself one of Breaking Bad's (and Vince Gilligan's in general; i.e. the episodes he wrote for series like The X-Files that I'm willing to bet someone as uncultured as yourself never even knew he wrote) biggest fans.

But this thread is about The Equalizer.

Don't like it?

Suck it up, stfu, stop whining like the little boring, humorless cretin you are is wont to do and move along — before I call Robert McCall and tell him I'm being trolled by unfunny Net shadows.

I have his ad right here.
