I'm going to be completely honest about the fishing situation. I really think that Israel should allow Gazans to fish as far as they'd like. Even without reading about it in articles discussing the issue, I already know that bigger fish are normally found in deeper waters.
Hopefully Israel will address this issue sooner than later. I don't see any reason why fishermen should suffer.

Egypt just found the longest tunnel so far from gaza. Israel has supplies going into gaza everyday but still hamas smuggles from egypt. Terrorist were also found and killed in sinai.
Hamas continues to make life for gazan ifficult by their illegal action against egypt and Israel.
Even abbas as asked the arab state to attack hamas. As long as they are in power they prevent election, any unity government, or any chance for an agreement that would bring about a state of any kind for the palestinians.
Hamas is responsible for war crimes and abbas has withdraw charges against Israel. Even the number of dead civilians has been altered from that hamas claimed. Hamas is responsible for rockets killing their own women and children.
With nuclear arms race between sunni and shiites and hamas cosying up to Iran and syria again, no one can afford for hamas to be smuggling in arms or for them to start another war with Israel. Time to end hamas and give palestinians a chance to reestablish an economy and government that can be a foundation of a future state.
