Can anyone doubt that his policies, combined with the president's insulting, mendacious, selectively obsequious words and behavior, will have the consequence of leaving the United States vastly weaker than it was before his election?
Yes but........
Obama took office on a wave of optimism originating in the phrase "Hope and Change"., instead he filled the pockets of the investor class while weakening the middle class resulting in the largest and fastest concentration of wealth in U.S. History.
Can anyone doubt that his policies, combined with the president's insulting, mendacious, and selectively obsequious words and two faced behavior, will have the consequence of leaving the United States vastly weaker than it was before his election?

The Middle East has been in political turmoil for 70 yearsThis, however, is exactly what President Trump is doing. His statements and policies clearly weaken and undermine America. They might not amount to national suicide, but they do point in the direction of intentional self-harm.
Trump's America-weakening words and deeds are not mistakes. George W. Bush's Iraq War was a mistake. Barack Obama's Libya intervention was a mistake. Both policies were undertaken with the intention of furthering American interests and the well-being of those who reside within the countries themselves. That turned out to be wrong, but the failure shows only that those who crafted and executed the policies made an error (or several of them).
The bigger picture is what W and O have done to the ME and the precarious position we are now in due to their errors .
Not like now with Russia entrenched in Syria.

The post is proof that the angry left has no concept of history. Harry Truman was elected to his first term on a wave of optimism and the little bean counter immediately started downsizing the military. He mismanaged the Korean conflict so horribly that the media even gave up on it calling it the Forgotten War and it's a legacy that we live with 65 years later. Democrats still love old "give 'em hell Harry' though because the media created a fake legacy. Today we have China on our side with sanctions on N.K. when they were freaking shooting at us during Truman's war. Angry libs enjoy a booming economy and unemployment at a record low but they would rather whine about faked international issues . Do hypocrite lefties ever have a nice day?

Meanwhile both houses of the legislative branch is wholly corrupt and without will to govern.
And they get away with it... because everyone is caught up in the hysteria of party politics. And the hysteria of the year is Trump. His antics, his tweets and his off the wall comments....and everyone is in full hysteria mode about him. To the point of ludicrousness.
Meanwhile...as a country we are more and more everyday losing our place while the elites control everything, and increase their wealth at our expense.
And both parties, of both houses are in full collusion with them.
AND THAT IS THE COLLUSION THAT HURTS US THE MOST.

NAFTA and TPP have been trashed with Trump having nothing to show for it

First of all dillweed.... we have the upper hand when it comes to the tariffs because we import far more from China than they import from us.
We import about a half a trillion dollars in goods from China while they import about $115 billion from us.
That disparity works in favor for the United states...China is not stupid...they realize that disparity as well...stop wishing for American failure....
