Not really. Of course we do have to play the same political games to get them to sign any bills we want passed, but that isn't our fault. That's how you get your opponent to give in. How else should the Dems get the GOP to sign on? Remember, the GOP neglected spending any money in America on America when it was their turn. Instead, they spent all our money in Iraq and we gave all those tax dollars to the top 1%. And they took the money and put it in UBS. Look up UBS if you don't know what that is. And they wrote loopholes so rich people and corporations could dodge taxes. So now they don't want to spend in America? Of course not. Unfortunately, they neglected the country for 8 years. So now they want to get all fiscally responsible? They should have thought about this before they spent us into bankruptsy.

They say we didn't let them participate in the process. The fact is, they did participate, and Obama gave them a bunch of stuff. That's something the GOP didn't do unless they needed our votes. We didn't need their votes and still gave them what they wanted.

But not everything they wanted. Remember, they lost the election. They want the exact opposite of what we want, so don't expect us to "meet them in the middle".

I think I showed you before that the Republicans, Karl Rove, started every debate as far to the right as they could, and the Democrats had to start in the middle. So everything that the GOP did was right of center.

The Dems didn't do that. We gave the GOP the tax breaks they wanted in this Economic Stimulus Bill. That means this bill is a centrist solution.

Our government should be in charge of the Federal Reserve. You don't understand what you are saying. I forgive you though because the truth has been kept from you. The bankes, JP Morgan and Rockafellor bribed congress to let them manage the Federal Reserve, coin our currency, set interest, etc.

Invest at home. Bring jobs home. If we don't invest in foreign markets and we do invest in America, then jobs will stay home and wages will go up.

You can't chew gun and walk at the same time, so I don't expect you to understand the companies going overseas, dodging taxes, lowering wages and hiring illegals, are a big part of the problem.

I agree with bringing jobs home, but Obama does not. Remember he said Ohioans cling to anti-trade? Of course they do. Half the mfg jobs in Ohio are gone because of free trade.

I know you have issues on wealth, you have been indoctrinated on that. But, this is what our country was founded on bobo....Life Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Work hard and this could happen to you, too. It worked for me. But, you want "your government" to take that away.
I want the free market to correct the banks bobo. Some will fail, and some will get stronger. Then they will learn from their mistakes. Thats' the way it's suppose to be done in our country. Use the protection of bankruptsy to reorganize for success, it's been done before.

Reagan spent his way out of a recession. So did Bush after 9-11. Corporate profits were thru the roof in 2006, right? So it worked.

But I agree, it only held off the inevidable. I won't argue that we need to change what we are doing, but I believe Obama is change.
