The Dilemma That Is Paul Ryan

Ryan worships at the feet of Ayn Rand. She had a philosphy that stated that the man is more important than laws or morals. A philosophy that is on the Nazi side of Fascism. And you people wish to have a man with this philosophy within a heartbeat of the US Presidency.

You have been full of shit since you joined here.

With your credibility registering in the negative.

Why are you here? We have plenty of you fools to laugh at. Besides you are not even funny...just stupid...

Absolutely, any day. Ayn Rand stood for the same morals that the Founding Fathers did. She stood against just those illegitimate laws and false morals that the left is so fond of touting. Every man (woman) has the opportunity to perform to the greatest of their abilities. Some people would rather seize the fruits of those more talented, more creative, more productive in order to enrich themselves at the cost of those who have earned the fruits of their labors. And the evil leeches manage to do this by selling the masses on the idea that all those stolen riches will be distributed to them...but only after the lying, cheating, thieves have appropriated all that they want. You end up with even more suffering, a ruling class that has driven the best members of society to desert them to their dregs. That's a bit simplified, but you can only profit from the golden goose up until the day you dine on a goose dinner.

What democrats should really be afraid of, it that while they drag Rand's corpse out of the grave, it might induce many people to actually read her books. Then socialism in the US will be dead for at least a couple of generations.

You mean like Ron Wyden?

Who voted against the Ryan Budget?

Sorry, guy, that one isn't going to fly, either.

You just scared off the old people... and they vote.

I wonder how Obama is gonna explain away stealing $700 billion from Medicare this year?

Based on his performance so far, he won't even bother. The press will pretty much ignore that fact and then the obama superpacs, which obama does not influence in any way, will start tossing out more lies and fictional anecdotes intended to further drive his worshipers into their mindless frenzy.

Ryan is a very articulate intelligent man who espouses horrible ideas and can make them sound reasonable.

As long as no one actually challenges it.

If you think that ether you aren't listening, can't understand what he's saying, or have been listening to the distortions too long.

The only hope Obama has is get folks to stop useing their brains. Go around with blinders on. The video in the op says it all. Obama can't argue the facts with Ryan. His goal is deception.

I'm sorry, my brains tell me that letting old people die for inadequate health care while giving a big sloppy wet kiss to big insurance isn't very smart.

Do your brains also tell you that no one wants that to happen, or do they only tell you things you want to here?

Yup.....that's the GOPs secret weapon.....kill people.

That'll get em some votes.

Of course, the government could run it better. The whole selling point of Medicare Advantage was that it would save money by applying private enterprise principles. In fact, the program costs 20% more than regular medicare.

Not to mention most countries that have single payer pay less per capita than we do AND have longer life expectencies...

No, what they do to get votes is hold up a bible and yell "JAY-A-ZUS!" and stupid people go along with that while they watch their livlihoods go to some heathens in China.

I think the Republican Party is so enthralled to big Insurance that they actually believe their own bullshit.

The Dilemma that is Paul Ryan.

After listening to him explain economic theory it's really difficult for anyone to sound intelligent.

It's clear why Obama chose Joe Biden. He gave Obama instant credibility and after listening to Biden give a speech it makes Obama sound intelligent. Obama would never have a running-mate that shows him up. This is why I feel Obama would never drop him and pick up Hillary unless he knew he was gonna lose and he had no choice.

Here is a video where Ryan takes Obama apart in 6 mins. It's clear Obama hasn't a clue what he's talking about........and his only response isn't to give an answer but hand it off to somebody else. It's classic:

Obama's only chance is to tell seniors lies about how Ryan wants to end Medicare. We can call it Obamascare. The truth is against him and he knows it. His only hope is apathy and misinformation.

The debates will be interestng. Romney is not used to using a teleprompter. He thinks standing up. Obama reads standing up. Looking forward to the October debates minus teleprompter moments.

Ryan is quite a guy, isn't he! Yes, I hope he can influence our economic policy and will be at the helm!

Oh so you are in favor of his votes on these items?

So you rpoint is that Ryan is really a Democrat?
So why did Obama call him "the ideological leader of the GOP"?
Which one of you is lying, you or Obama?

Do your brains also tell you that no one wants that to happen, or do they only tell you things you want to here[sic]?

I think the Republican Party is so enthralled to big Insurance that they actually believe their own bullshit.

I could of sworn that Democrats were the ones that passed a law that requires everyone to buy from big insurance.

Except they really didn't.

In fact, most of the 46 million uninsured will be covered by expansions of medicaid.

Of course they also required big insurance to actually spend 85% of revenues on covering people. (No more 8 figure salaries for assholes) and cover pre-existing conditions.

I'm sorry, my brains tell me that letting old people die for inadequate health care while giving a big sloppy wet kiss to big insurance isn't very smart.

Point out the passage in Ryan's plan that says that.

And you feel that big government is better at the insurance business than private insurance companies. You want to put thousands of American in the insurance industry out of business.

I wonder how many wives will die because of that?

A lot of them will find jobs in the new bureaucracy that will replace private insurance.

But none of their wives would die because EVERYONE would be covered. Mrs. Soptic didn't die because her husband didn't have a job. She died because his insurance sucked.

Of course, the government could run it better. The whole selling point of Medicare Advantage was that it would save money by applying private enterprise principles. In fact, the program costs 20% more than regular medicare.

Not to mention most countries that have single payer pay less per capita than we do AND have longer life expectencies...

Bull shit. You're mixing up life-expectancies with the statistics on fetal fatalities.

Soptic's wife died because ether she couldn't give up smoking or it was just her time.

Insurance never saved anyone from their own habits.

Um,no, I'm not. We have the one of the worst life expectencies in the Industrialized world.

Life Expectancy At Birth, Total years statistics - countries compared - Health data on NationMaster

Japan - #1 82.08 years.
USA #35 77.71 years.

And it isn't because of Smoking.

Smoking Prevalence, Males % of adults statistics - countries compared - Nationmaster

# 37 Japan: 46.9 %
= 115 United States: 24.1 %

And it isn't because they spend more...

Spending per person statistics - countries compared - Nationmaster

# 1 United States: $4,271 per capita
# 9 Japan: $ 2,243 per capita...

So what are the Japanese doing right? Oh, that's right. They have universal coverage!

Ryan is, if not sane, at least honest.

He honestly admits that he wants to end most social programs except the WELFARE system called the Department of Defense.

He honestly admits that he wants to keep welfare for billionaires in place, and make the rest of the society to pay for it.

Credit where credit is due...Ryan is telling us what and who he values.

Nope. Japan has a national exercise program that almost everyone participates in and they have better food than we do.

Insurance has nothing to do with it.

We are leading the world in fat people.

Yes, we are...

But if you really think that the fact that 46 million people have no insurance and 25 million people have inadequate insurance isn't a large part of that puzzle, and that a lot of money spent on health care goes to line the pockets of rich douchebags, you are in serious denial.

How about this. We crib Japan's program in its entirity... socialized medicine and national excercise day.

(Incidently, I've never heard about that, and I used to work for a Japanese company.)
