The bomb and who made the bangs

Of over 2,000 bombs; America did more than half of them.
They were the first to blow one up and the only one to use them against people.
Israel has done none. Why is that and, if they really have them, how do they know they'll go bang?
Again, why has America tested over 1,000 bombs?
Seems a hell of a lot for a nation committed to peace.

Yeah, the Russians never tested a one. Nor the South Africans and Israelis together. Nor the Indians. Nor the Chinese. Nor the Pakistanis. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuKWJeAKx_Y]Pakistan Nuclear Test 28-05-1998 - YouTube[/ame]

I-Fred -- What proof do you want concerning Israel? You think that mere possession of a nuclear weapon is a greenlight to USE them? Maybe in the Arab world -- that will be the approach.

Another poster gave you a clue as to how you know it works. You can detonate deep in the ground and escape detection -- or you could COMBINE testing with another nation.

Besides, if the fuel is correct, the rest is a matter of design and simulation. Or so I'm told.. <<nervous chuckle>>

Nor the French. Nor the British. Nor the Canadians.

None of these tested over 1,000 bombs.
Are there really so many types that needed testing or were the explosions a "look how big my penis is" competition?
