A great extinction event is defined as an event that wipes out 30% to 50% of the species on the planet. There are estimated to be 8,700,000 species on earth...at the low 30% end of the mass extinction scale that would mean that over two million, six hundred thousand species will be going extinct....Now...can you name 25 species that have gone extinct over the past 100 years that aren't due to over hunting?

I agree with you 100%, but they do not care. This isn't about science to them, this is about politics and ideology. They are just abusing science to push their agenda.

While I am relatively sure we have little choice but to stay engaged in the UN, it should be a high priority of the next administration to defund much of what they put in it. I am all for putting our 1 of how many countries contribution....equal contribution, and then just let them do whatever they want, and veto everything we don't like, since they are mostly socialists anyway!
