The Patriot Act set the bar very, very low for authorities to eavesdrop and even enter buildings or private premises without a warrant based on such incredibly inane excuses as odd noises, much less any kind of suspicious activity.

The Technology discussed in this article was developed in Iraq during our illegal occupation and vanity war there. Now city governments have adopted it to spy on their citizens.

Sad to see the dupes here Who think that is OK

Because Bush isn't President any more he shouldn't be blamed or even held accountable for what he did while he was.

How come Pocahontas Warren hasn't repealed the Patriot Act, or Obama or Pelosi and Reid. They had a window where they didn't need a single Republican vote to get it done, probably take a day or two. The OP needs to stop foaming at the mouth about Bush and go speak with her own party leaders.

obama PROMISED TO GET RID OF IT, BUT THEN MADE IS STRONGER, TWICE.

but lets not hold him accountable, b/c that would force you to think for yourself, and that's just not possible

No surprise since he is in one of the corporate parties.

Jill Stein and the Green Party platform both call for the elimination of the Patriot Act. Along with other unconstitutional laws.

Their logic is: Bad burn does not leave a scar.

Prove that he made it stronger. Where's your source for this? The problem is he did not repeal it, which I was not happy about.

Suck on it lib, you assholes owned the House, the Senate, and the White House you didn't need a single Republican vote to repeal the Patriot act so shove that up your ass.

Partially correct. But the actual reality is that you can thank Both Democrats and Republicans for it. They've worked very closely and both fully support awful violations like the Patriot Act, NDAA, Massive NSA domestic spying, and so on. If the Democrats opposed these violations so much, why didn't they work to abolish them? Why didn't Obama even try to?

Once again, Americans have been duped on that old outdated 'Republican vs. Democrat' paradigm. There is only one Party. And it's run by the NWO Globalist Elites. More Americans just need to become more aware of what the new war is all about. Forget about 'Republican vs. Democrat.' It's the 'NWO Globalists vs. the People.'
