Thank you President Obama

:thewave:

And don't forget that $3.70/gal for gas!!!!!

You can thank China and India for these gas prices. They are not going down no matter who is President.

If gas prices are still less than a dollar in Saudi Arabia and ours are still rising you can thank Obama.

He's the person that put ethanol additives in our gas when we have a drought, wouldn't allow Canada to run their pipeline into the US and closed down most of the oil production on federal lands and in the Gulf.

NEW YORK – Stocks closed higher Friday, although in a tight trading range. For the Dow Jones industrial average and the Standard & Poor's 500 index, it was the sixth straight week of gains, which hasn't happened since late 2011. The Nasdaq composite index finished higher for the fifth straight week.

Driving stocks higher was rising consumer sentiment in August, robust retailer earnings, and a report showing the Conference Board's index of leading indicators rose in July.

Stock indexes close up for six straight weeks of gains

Great news for Mitt, too....more money for him to offshore to avoid paying taxes on.

You do not get out much ,ah ? The U.S. government currently has to borrow approximately 41 cents of every single dollar that it spends.

You're just trying to tick off all those 'righties', aren't you? You will no doubt succeed. Stirring up the hornets' nest you are!
Whenever the stock market dips, the right blames it on Obama. Therefore he deserves credit when we have six straight weeks of gains.

And the consumer confidence is also to his credit.

This 'right' that you speak of doesn't really exist. The 'right' are individuals, they don't do 'group think', that is the hallmark of the left.... herd.

You are deluded, dear.

The strange thing is, I remember when Bush pointed to the stock market as proof that the economy was recovering and people called it the jobless recovery because unemployment didn't change.. Now we have unemployment that has been higher for the entire time Obama has been in office than it was at any point that Bush was in office, and the same people that scoffed at Bush praise Obama.

Can anyone explain this to me?

Yeah...I forget we are supposed to thank Obama for bestowing upon us
mere mortals his benevolence for leading us out of our despair....

And we need to do it daily or the Libs cry racism.

What policies has Obama put in place that would be responsible for this?

The Bush administration made the stock market go up...

You've been blaming everything else on him, might as well blame this on him to...

I have no idea. But the rightwingloons blame him every time the stock market dips so he must deserve credit when it goes up.

Probably not. Conservatives don't think that way and liberals are incapable of explaining the inexplicable.

Thank you private sector for working in spite of the fact that you have an enemy in the Oval Office.
Thank you state governors for bringing in new jobs.
Thank you Wall Street for being optimistic.
Fuck you barack hussein obama.

What policies has Obama put in place that would be responsible for this?

The Stimulus, and ACA (Affordable Care Act) both of which prevented recovery, but most importantly he has done nothing positive to unleash the free market that was strangled by the liberal policies that caused this depression.

Barry is on track to have the worst economic record since FDR and to be the greatest liberal hero since FDR. You can't account for the pure stupidity of liberals nor can we expect to survive forever with so many liberals around.

Amazing how dumb some of these liberals are, isn't it? Sadly, the republican's in office aren't much better. The dumbing down of America is now in full force, and its gotten to the point where these 'enlightened' college students, won't spend one second trying understand how basic economics works before firing away at that cum stained keyboard of theirs. Very sad to see
