Teatards in office 5 minutes and...

btw, how many MORE threads do we need on this NON-story

Be fair though, it is a story. They trumpeted deep cuts and now they're talking scaling them back. That in and of itself, is a story.

There will be another batch when the next school recess comes around and they think of some more juvenile adaptations for the term Tea Party.

well duh. Those fucking morons who think the tea party is anything different from the Republicans are delusional.
The Tea party are the Republicans.

Yep,, and we're by god proud to call them ours. Tea Party kicks ass.

Leave it to the left leaning mainstream media (Reuters) to throw a crumb to angry libs just when republicans are being sworn in. Post your crap lefties. You still lost the election.

They sure as fuck did.

"Politicians back peddle on promises after election"

There's some fucking breaking news.

It seems to be news to Republicans when Dems do it, and now vice versa. It's how hacks work. Leave them alone.

giving that the fiscal year is already half over, if they cut the current year by half it would be a good start then cut the next year by the full amount

If they didn't know how the fiscal year budgets worked when they were campaigning, they don't belong in their seats.

already caving in, breaking their word, backpeddling...

Republicans take over House, dilute cuts | Reuters

(Reuters) - Republicans scaled back plans for deep cuts in government spending as they took power in the House of Representatives on Wednesday, diluting a key promise that helped them to victory in November's election.

This was sooooo predictable. You been chumped!

From your your article:
The incoming House budget chief, Republican Paul Ryan, told NBC's "Today" program a Republican campaign promise to cut $100 billion in spending this year had been "compromised" by the momentum of spending already under way.

The actual cuts put forward could be "substantially less" than $50 billion, a House Republican aide said, because the fiscal year will be halfway through by the time Republicans get a chance to affect spending.

You're pwned, moron sheep.

Ouch! :clap2:

You know how this goes....they post only what they want us to pay attention to, even though any one can comb through the article and often times find info to make them look like fools.

It's their M.O.

you mean like how the dems claimed they would do all this and that before they got in office and after backtracked on nearly ALL of it?
and their excuse was" it was worse than we thought it was" but thats ok, right?

And I love how "hope and change" produced 17% unemployment and massive entitlement spending LBJ style.

Oh the irony.
