"Tears of Joy" despite terror and loss: What we owe to Aya and Ahmed and All Children

Peace and Justice.
And Freedom that comes with Truth and Wisdom.

That is what the world owes to the little children killed in Syria,
in Iraq, and worldwide while adults fight political wars that we can't afford.

When I think about what Aya and Ahmed represent,
as the baby twins killed in Syria whose lifeless bodies
cradled by their grieving father have moved the world to ask for greater action,
it's PEACE and JUSTICE that we all want and all need.

We all want FREEDOM from fear and suffering
caused by unresolved conflicts that we have PLENTY OF RESOURCES
to resolve. If we would commit to the process of REAL peacemaking and
collaboration. NOT posturing and pushing for political power to "make someone
else change" but really take on all this work, and share the responsibility to DO IT.

STOP the fighting, and start VALUING and EMPOWERING people who ARE doing the work to make peace and rebuild communities and relationships.
And QUIT funding and supporting people who FIGHT AND DESTROY each other.

Those poor babies.

I looked up the numbers of children and people killed in the previous attacks (2013)
also suspected by Sarin gas. the numbers before were GREATER but got NO media attention or response, compared with the fewer numbers killed in this recent incident.

But this time the world DID respond.

And when I read the words of the poor father, I am touched by his gentle faith.
He grieves the loss of over 20 members of his family, including his baby twins,
but he says some of the tears are of JOY that they are in a better place
because SYRIA is NO PLACE for little children.

Well what about the rest of the world. What are we making of it,
what are we leaving behind for the children to have to live in and CLEAN UP?
All the TOXIC waste and garbage?
All the messes from wars that cost TRILLIONS to destroy whole nations
and will cost TRILLIONS MORE to restore and rebuild.

Who is to do and pay for all that work?

Do we really have time to argue if the US govt is more of a danger and hypocrite,
than Russia or China? When all our populations need help and the resources
are being wasted creating more problems than we can afford.

If we are going to send a proper farewell to Aya and Ahmed and the hopes and dreams they represent for the children of the world,
let us also open our hearts and minds to receive
PEACE and JUSTICE
so that the world is restored and made a place we do want to bring children into.

God bless the people of the world, all the nations and children,
all the leaders of every tribe and government, to join together
and receive this calling for truth and wisdom to set us free
from strife and conflict, and bring in the unifying healing
spirit of Peace and Justice to unite and support our efforts in
restoring ourselves, our relations and nations, our society and planet.

So sorry more children had to die before we come to this realization.
But as their father said, they are not the first,
but I hope and pray they are among the LAST that have to die in war.

Don't hold your breath for that. Do you think it's possible that the reason the left is so focused on this fake "collusion" conspiracy is because of the obvious collusion of the corrupt media to do everything they can to destroy Trump?
