My Shack
I tuned in and there was a preacher running around the stage ranting waving a hangmans noose.
For sure very Christlike.

Selling? Sounds like collecting money using terror tactics to me.

Some preachers run a "protection" racket like the mob?

but with nothing to really protect from....

They should become a 503(C) Tax Exempt so they can get Gov't money.

Oh, you didn't know that's how it works?

Nothing new there either. I have gotten calls from salesmen who started by asking if I cared about the health of my family. The idea being that if I didn't buy their product they would all die horrible deaths. This is not a safe world and there are unscrupulous people out there who will take advantage of you. The more free a society is, the easier it is to rob people. I'll take my chances with the robbers.

Was he asking God to Damn America? There are good and bad preachers, just like any other occupation.
To be able to distinguish which is which, God supplies discernment to any body that asks. If you see a preacher wielding an axe or or swinging a hangman's noose, switch to John Hagee.
If you're looking for a Christian like preacher, read the red passages in your Bible.
Don't try to condemn Christianity by using an unchristian like preacher, to create an Unchristian like sentiment.

That is a common practice. Part of the human condition. Why should Christians be exempt from it? If USMB is any indication, most Christians seem to be experts at this behavior. They are quick to point out the bad behavior among Muslims as a reflection of the evils of Islam. They love to talk about the bad behavior of non-Christians to illustrate the degradation of values in a world rejecting Christianity, but we can't point out bad behavior amongst Christians or we're "condemning Christianity based on the behavior of Christians."

Don't get me wrong, I think it is very presumptuous to condemn any institution because of the behavior of some members of it. I'm simply saying that it has been my observation that this behavior is, arguably I admit, particularly commonplace amongst Christians, while they seem particularly sensitive to the same behavior directed at them.

It is a common practice that we should remove from the human condition.
God said that we would be judged by the extent we judge others. Don't want judged? Don't judge, period.
We would do well to worry about our own frailties, instead of pointing out the shortcomings of others.

Remove it from the human condition? Wow. That sounds a lot like social engineering.

Socialist.

Sounds like introspection to me. And has nothing to do with society, or social engineering. It's just the opposite. Here is an example to prove that 1. it isn't a difficult to withhold judgement, and 2. a lot of social engineering isn't necessary at all:

Paul not only judged people for being Christians, he held the coats of those that stoned Christians to death. One 5 minute conversation with Jesus later, Paul said he wouldn't even judge himself.
We can do all things, through Christ, who strengthens us.

Hell, even a secular can condition himself to withhold judgement and develop empathy by "walking a mile in someone else's shoes", right?
Are you compelled to judge others or is it just a bad habit?

Judge.

How about a link, or a video?

Otherwise, we just have usc's word for it, and that's worthless.

Just being snarky with the socialist comment, Ram.
