Supreme Court decision probably means jail time for me

Supreme Court decision probably means jail time for me

Nonsense.

The ACA authorizes neither criminal nor civil penalties.

Lets get this straight. If you can't afford insurance they are going to fine you, and you lefty idiots support this? Fools.

Wrong.

If one can’t afford insurance he’ll be placed in a state’s Medicaid plan.

So you are suggesting we can not pay our taxes and avoid criminal penalties now?

hospitals should be very happy and not go in to bankruptcy and close down as often as they had to in the past with so many non insured that they were required by law to treat and pick up the tab, with tax payer's help, no???

I think this could be a win win for our medical facilities....if I understand this correctly?

How you figure?
Millions more insured.
Who is going to treat them?
Has Obamacare funded the construction of more medical facilities?
Will we now have to wait 6 months to see a specialist when we
have a condition that will kill us in 3 months...

I never got an answer from one smarter then a righty libs here about this.
With all the newly insured on the roles now.
Who is gonna be taking care of them?

I have asked this question over and over again.
Have yet to get an answer.
yes, it's part of the bill....more doctors, increased numbers at medical schools, nursing as well and more medical facilities....

they are certain to stumble though, imo....until the increase in doctors catches up...so in a way, i agree with you.... there could be a short period of being chaotic....

Yeah. The Undocumented are all lining up with fists of cash eager to start paying their own way. :lmao:

Yes; you understand correctly. I work for a large medical system and I can tell you that the brass was very happy to see this upheld. More than anything else, it means stability. Of those self-presenting to our emergency room, about 6% are uninsured. We may or may not get paid. They expect that to drop down to 2% or 3%. So that means more revenue for the hospital. The big win is for the taxpayers who are paying for the upwards of 25%-30% who self present to county/city/state hospitals with no insurance. There will be scores fewer of those.

Why some on the right can't see this self-evident truth is very suspect. I believe they are practicing a form of denial.

It's not important if you get treated. It's only important that you are covered.
More liberal logic.

the government can kiss my ass.

i'm not buying health care insurance.

because i'm trying to start my own business i'm already a target for the IRS, now by refusing to purchase health care insurance i'm going to be a huge target for the IRS.

they can charge me for what health care really is, a new large tax.

being part of the 2% who will not participate, i do not comply with corrupt government.
i expect to have problems with the IRS within 5 years

i have a bad feeling that the supreme court is going to hold up their ruling on health care until after the election.

they hear the case for 3 days before they go back to perma-vacation, they said that they will release their meaningless opinion before the election, but i have a feeling they will drag it out so it doesn't effect Obama.

health insurance totalitarians have already stated that they expect the ruling to pass the court by one vote.

my spidy senses are already picking up bad signals....
the other day they had a biography of justice John Roberts talking about how "conservative" he is.
making sure it's well known this is a "conservative" supreme court ..which it really isn't.

Scalia and Thomas are on record for conservative voting, and we got 2 guys who are supposed to be hard-core conservatives,

we got 4 fruits and nuts

then the guy Kennedy "the moderate" will be the one to take the payoff and pass the mandate

Look on the bright side. If you go to jail, you'll get free health care. No taxes, either.

For starters, this isn't all going to happen overnight.

"Millions more insured" equals, more jobs, more, money and a BOOMING industry that will require qualified individuals to fulfill those needs and jobs.

Has Obamacare funded the construction of more medical facilities?
Why should Obamacare do that when 'free market principles' will take over and address that demand?

"Who is going to treat them?" Well, doctors, PA's, and nurses will. Once again this will help the economy because of the boom in that field.

"Who going to take care of them?" Health care providers will .

"Will we now have to wait 6 months to see a specialist when we
have a condition that will kill us in 3 months..."
Where did you get that 'stuff' from?

i believe, the repubs got their way and the bill does NOT cover illegals for insurance....they can't get coverage intense!

edit....they can't get gvt tax money for coverage, but may have to purchase it.....

You won't be alone....there are plenty from Kansas and Missiouri who are giving Obama the middle finger on this one.

I don't agree with them or with not complying.

But you can bet, I am going to do all I can do to repeal that and shove this bill right up Harry Rieds oversized ass.

DOn't drop the soap when you go to jail.

Frankly, if you can't pay your taxes and you can't pay for your insurance, you probably shouldn't start your own business because you are horribly undercapitalized. Just sayin'.

And that won't stop. Illegals are going to keep showing up.

But hey, water the money tree....it will keep coming.

Yep! We'll have a lot of savings as taxpayers when people can get preventative healthcare instead of having to rely on the much more expensive acute care at the emergency room.

Not sure what that means but we will have more insured parties showing up to the hospital; we will have more income as a result. This will occur at no cost to the taxpayers; just the insurance holder. Win-Win

You are a moron. If your start up fails THAT will be the reason. There will be no jail time for people refusing to participate in the Affordable Health Care. You will just get less refund from your taxes. That's it... you can put away your crying towel and knock off the drama.

A classic example of money grows on trees lefty wishful thinking.

The insured parties are those who will be forced into paying and whose insurance will be subsidized by others. Where do you think your money will come from.

Oh wait...I already answered that question.

More Doctors? What makes you think College students might not decide that being a Lawyer is far more lucrative? It's sure going to be fun waiting eighteen months to get "that" Operation you need.
