I suggest that we take into consideration that hackers exist and take measures to ensure they cannot do bad things to our strategic industries including power. If it takes a few people hired in every power station to operate the management of that station then so be it. I do know more than you think about how computers can be given many tasks in a specific environment with completely safe results.

I was one of the employees that built Bill Gates compound on Lake Washington. It is one of the most highly computer enfused environments on the planet. There is no doubt in my mind that Bill's house is completely safe from outside hacker attack. I built the computer operated shades, blinds and window treatments thruout the project and saw the whole system being constructed. That doesn't make me the know it all expert but I dare say it offered me a real time glimpse of state of the art technology of 1995 and it was impressive. I was one of the few people to work practically everywhere in the compound and highly concentrated work in Bill's private living and working spaces. I seriously doubt if you had a better look at real technological installations than I.

Sony confirms The Interview’ will have Christmas Day screenings after all
