So where did Trump phuck up?

Let’s pretend there’s no Covid and no voter fraud.
Where did he come up short?
Did he get enough accomplished in his first two years with a Republican House and Senate?
Did he build enough wall fast enough?
Did he phuck up by not pushing hard enough to end DACA?
After John McShitstain voted down Trump Care why didn’t he promptly roll out another version?
He got elected in 2016 lol

In my honest opinion Trump screwed up when he didn't find times to be more magnanimous when it called for it. He gave his political enemies too many bullets to fire at him and use against him.

Talk softly but carry the big stick. That is the way of politics. Oh, the left wing media still would have used a lot he said against him, but he could have minimized it.

No, I didn't want him to be a punching bag and assume that position like RINOS who suffer from pusillanimity. However, being humble is NOT the same thing as being timid.

Perception is everything in professional politics. Especially in a place where a President isn't a king or an Emperor. That was lost on him and theoretically he should have overwhelmingly won based on the things the left say they are about. From the historic peace accords, the lack of war under his presidency to the number of opportunities minorities got, but he did many favors for his political enemies to paint a different PERCEPTION.

Uh, guy, the expression is "Talk softly and carry a big stick." It's associated with Teddy Roosevelt and his foreign policy of not stirring up trouble but having the military strength to back up your positions.

Okay, guy, let's get real here... Trump by any objective measure is a failed president.. Covid, Recession, riots, this is not a record of success. Nobody cares that he got two countries that don't have a common border and never fought a war to sign a "peace accord". They care about the fact that they lost their jobs and got sick.

Now, Trump COULD have turned Covid into a political positive, the way Bush turned 9/11 into a political positive. But that would have required selflessness, empathy and humbleness, and then deferring to the people who know what they are doing... things Trump just isn't capable of.
