I suspect it is a common personality trait among those on the left. They think they are protected by and from the MSM (DNC media), because they are one with the MSM.

Look at Harvey Weinstain. He says to the media that I have always been good to you guys. I made a mistake forgive me. Weinstain is the perfect example of a powerful leftist, who gave lots of cash to the D party and was outspoken against the left's political opponents, and in turn was protected.
