See all the burning flags sending the troops off?
We did win but I'm still trying to figure out what we won and, more importantly, if it was worth the cost in lives.
The American people won.
Well here are the people THAT ARE VERY UNHAPPY!!!
Starting with the number one TERRORIST CHEERLEADER who called our:
Senator Obama(D) .."troops are air-raiding villages and killing civilians,"
Is it NO wonder the Terrorists LOVED to hear comments like these from so called "leaders"???
If you don't think terrorists used words like above and below to RECRUIT and prolong IRAQ causing 3,000+ more deaths and $600 billion more then ever
necessary.. YOU are extremely NAIVE!!!
Durbin (D) "must have been done by Nazis, Soviets --action of Americans in the treatment of their prisoners.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid(D) "War is lost",
U.S. Rep. Murtha(D) "Our troops killed innocent civilians in cold blood,
Senator Kerry(D) "American soldiers going into the homes of Iraqis in the
dead of night, terrorizing kids and children."
And there are empirical studies that show the Terrorists LOVED these Cheerleaders!!!
Our President had three years to negotiate a basis for leaving Iraq with a force of Americans stationed there to serve as both a counterbalance to Iranian pressure, and to protect the American diplomats and embassy.
Rather than this event as one of promise-keeping, it is one more sign of the incompetence of this President.
He has no more achievements in foreign policy than in domestic.
"The formation will be distributed as follows: 8,000 servicemen labeled US diplomats would be attached to operations command centers housed in secret, secure quarters at the embassy in Baghdad and in US consulates in Iraqi cities, including missions yet to be opened, states the report. Another 7,000 troops were classified as US security officers 4,000 for protecting US diplomats and 3,000 as military instructors.

By way of comparison, the US has some 60,000 troops in Europe.

Can't wait for November 2012.
Since it was all about oil, gas should be 40-cents/gallon by sundown.
•Number of US troops in Germany: over 50,000
•Number of US troops in Japan: over 40,000
•Number of US troops in Italy: over 10,000
•Number of US troops in Britain: over 9,000
Is it just me, or do the military priorities of the US government seem a little off-balance? Why does it make sense to abandon Iraq and Afghanistan but to also maintain a large and expensive military presence in peace-time Europe?"
