China has 85% of it's oil going through the strait.

Almost every other country has a huge percentage of its oil going through the straight.

Should America protect everybody else? If so why should we demand in return, if anything?

Had Trump not gotten out of Obama's terrible agreement with Iran, British ships would not be getting attacked by Iran. So, I do believe we need to stand with the British. But where is everyone else? While the USA pulled out of the deal, the other members stayed in the deal. So, why is Iran ignoring the limitations of the deal AND attacking British shipping when the British stayed in the deal?
