Inside your head.
with there victory over the undefeated no 1 ranked team Georgia has Bama earned the right to to the the playoffs ? should Texas go to the playoffs and even with their win tonight should Fl State remain in the picture even with their win tonight considering its doubtful they would beat any team in said playoff picture ?

With the top 4 teams all still undefeated, I doubt Bama is going to get a nod. They've fallen out of favor and frankly, most of the nation has gotten sick of seeing them win for so long. That said. I'm a lifelong Bama fan, first watched them under Bear Bryant and I'd love to see them have a chance to play any of the top 4 but I seriously doubt it will be allowed. To make matters worse, Georgia almost certainly will retain one of those spots.

If they want the best 4 teams in the playoff, then Bama gets in. FSU has not lost, but they haven't played anyone. Louisville is their signature win?

Alabama, michigan, FSU, Washington are major conference champions and should go to the playoffs

Or Texas should replace Alabama but that wont happen

I think, again if you want the 4 best teams, make it Michigan, Washington, Alabama, and Georgia. FSU's schedule is so weak.

I am not anti FSU. However, they lost their most productive player the Quarterback to injury and there is a drop-off to the former 2nd string Quarterback. Whoever plays them in the semifinals has a potential cakewalk if they are good themselves. I still believe the top two teams are usually the best in the nation in final polling although it is not 100% perfect. When we go to 12 teams will we have arguments on 13th, 14th and 15th teams that are on the periphery? We have had some terrible games with the 4-team playoff.

Not Georgia because they lost the SEC championship game
You can't leave Alabama out and put Georgia in. That is just silly.

The entire playoff system this year is a dumpster fire with everyone knowing Florida State has no business being there, even though they are undefeated.

The whole thing is silly.

Really, who has Michigan beaten this year? Ohio State? They do that every year. Who cares?

:auiqs.jpg:

If anyone deserves to be #1 it is Washington for beating Oregan twice.

I'm not sure MIchigan could beat OSU twice.

The whole Big Ten Championship was a sham and disgraceful.

I dont think that will happen

Alabama won the SEC, Georgia didnt

FSU won a power 5 conference championship and they should be in

Ditto for Michigan and Washington

The big loser may be my Texas Longhorns who also won a power 5 conference championship

That makes 5 when there are only 4 spots

But Texas beat Alabama in week 2

So there is an argument to be made for making Alabama the odd man out

Washington and Michigan are the two best teams.

Again, Michigan has only beaten Ohio State.

Who has Ohio State beaten? They barely got past Notre Dame.

Ohio State is not that good, and will more than likely lose their bowl game.

OSU has no QB, and their coaching staff are a bunch of clowns.

Both Georgia and Alabama could be Michigan with their second string in.

As for Washington, I don't keep up with them so reserve judgement later.

However, they have no pedigree.

Really, winning in college football has more to do with history.

Either you have a winning program or you don't. To date, Washinton has not proven themselves for anything really.
