Sex selection abortion -- violence against girls and feminists don't care

Do you have a practical way of banning such abortions without banning all abortions?

Yes. It's really quite simple and I'll link to a great explanatory article.

Of course there will be devious ways of finding underground ultra sound clinics who by their very nature will assist in gender related abortions, there's no stopping that.

But those hospitals with high standards are taking action on their own to prevent female feticide.

This is just for starters. Female feticide is on the front burner up here.

A Toronto Star survey has found that six major hospitals in the GTA do not allow their ultrasound staff to reveal a baby’s gender to expectant mothers.

And, whether by coincidence or by design, all six hospitals are located in or near areas with high concentrations of South Asian immigrants — one of the ethnic communities at the centre of a mounting concern over female feticide.

Female feticide — the practice of aborting female fetuses due to a preference for sons — is a known phenomenon in countries such as China and India, where it has been deemed a “crime against humanity.”

Issues - Sex-selective Abortion

Of all the reasons to have an abortion, the worst is to base the decision on the fact that the unborn child is female.

This has created in some countries a lop-sided population of males to females. In some countries, a female child is not wanted compared to a male child.

I don't believe I've seen a feminist on this forum talk about this, but here is my open invitation.

If you are a feminist, speak out against this horrible discrimination against females.

You should care, and if you don't, all your other blabbering means nothing.

In all honesty...once you decide to murder a baby....is the reason even important?
Murder is the unlawful killing of another human being.

Abortion isn't against the law, so it's not murder, but it is killing, and so is pulling the plug on Grandma when she's gone veggie

---
Does your anti-killing stance extend to not killing other animals, like cattle, pig, and deer? Cats & dogs?
Or just to unborn human organisms, of which 90% are aborted within first 12 weeks, if miscarriage does not occur?

So if you want to outlaw revealing gender via ultrasound then go ahead.

That will mesh nicely with the states mandate ultrasounds before an abortion.
