Incredibly, we still have liberals on this board who continue to repeat the myth that the Planned Parenthood videos were "deceptively edited," even though a respected forensics firm has demolished that claim, and even though the Center for Medical Progress has released the full versions of the videos.

Soon after the videos began to be released, Planned Parenthood hired a left-wing opposition research group to "study" the videos. This group, named Fusion, had no experience in preparing evidence for criminal or civil investigations. Predictably, Fusion produced a "report" that claimed the videos were "deceptively edited." To give you some idea of the shabby, amateurish nature of Fusion's "research," not only did Fusion not examine all the videos, they did not use any of the originals but used four copies available on YouTube!

In response, the Alliance Defending Freedom hired Coalfire, a respected forensics firm with experience in preparing evidence for criminal and civil investigations, to study the videos. Coalfire's experts examined all the videos, including the originals, and found no evidence of "deceptive editing." Here is their report:

Here is a brief article on the Planned Parenthood videos that contains numerous links that tell you all there is to know about the videos:

The Planned Parenthood Videos

Unfortunately that message does not penetrate the reality shield around planet Rightard.

Daleiden and Merritt created a fake human-tissue company and secretly recorded Planned Parenthood workers discussing the disposal of fetal tissue. Planned Parenthood officials, who have sued the two and several others involved in making the videos, say the recordings were deceptively edited and falsely portrayed the highly regulated process by which tissue from aborted fetuses can be donated for medical research.

"These people broke the law to spread malicious lies about Planned Parenthood in order to advance their extreme anti-abortion political agenda."

Videos were doctored

Planned Parenthood has been found repeatedly NOT to be selling baby parts for profit

Conservatives repeat the same lies

What a hoot. You can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. The local DA's office has links with Planned Parenthood, by the way.

I thought liberals believed in the First Amendment and freedom of the press. It is amazing that any American would endorse this outrageous attempt to prosecute the Center for Medical Progress for doing the exact same thing that CBS, ABC, NBC, the Washington Post, the New York Times, etc., etc., have done on many occasions.

And how does the baseless indictment in Texas change the fact that genuine forensic research shows the videos were not misleadingly edited?

Most "news" videos are edited, but only for brevity. The issue is the nature of the editing, and the Coalfire forensic study proves that the CMP editing was not deceptive.

Nope. They didn't do anything different than any of the journalists at ABC, CBS, NBC and all the other investigative reporters do...........they had a democrat operative pretending to be a prosecutor seat a grand jury on planned parenthood, and then use it to attack the ones exposing the crime.

poor guy, 2aguy.. delusional as ever :itsok:

planned parenthood/murder, killed viable babies and sold their parts......and the democrats in prosecutors offices all over the country are looking the other way.

emotional appeals are so emotional...

abortion is legal and fetal tissue research is legal.

are clinicians supposed to administer scientific research in sign language so your delicate ears don't burn?

They killed babies and sold their parts for money.

They killed babies and sold their parts for money.
They were compensated for preserving tissue for critical medical research. No different than a body of an adult who donates body parts to science

Obviously, you are merely copying and pasting liberal propaganda on the issue, without bothering to read the other side. What "malicious lies" has the Center for Medical Progress spread about Planned Parenthood? Have you even watched the videos?

You'd rather rely on a bogus "report" issued by a left-wing opposition research group than on the report issued by a respected digital forensics firm that has prepared evidence for civil and criminal investigations.

By the way, how about the times when Planned Parenthood staffers have been caught on camera trying to help minors get abortions without following state parental notification laws? I guess you're okay with that, right? You're as bad as the pro-slavery apologists, and just as inhumane.

PP was investigated and cleared. Either move on or move over.

LOL! Whose investigation, pray tell, "cleared" PP? You mean the one done by the liberal, PP-connected DA's office that talked a brain-dead grand jury into issuing an indictment? That's your idea of an "investigation"? Really?

How about the investigation conducted by the House Committee on Government Oversight? What about that one?

Planned Parenthood - United States House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform

What about the videos themselves? A bogus "investigation" by a pro-PP DA's office does not change the reality of what the videos themselves show.
