I am not NA, so I cannot speak for them. However, with that said, I took the code term meaning as honorable. Geronimo gave a good chase to the calvary. He was a very elusive man and made it difficult to catch him. I think they named it after him due to the same battle it was to find him as it was Geronimo. No insult intended.
