Seas Have Drastically Risen Along Southern U.S. Coast In Past Decade

Did you miss my storm surge comment and I probably would notice. I worked for a company in Louisiana for 3 years building and improving the levee systems after Katrina. What is your expertise on the subject ?
Cool story, bro. What was your job, bringing everyone coffee?

Then why are you denying the sea level has been rising in Louisiana?

In the last decade, the speed at which Louisiana’s sea level is rising has increased, and is now rising by as much as 1 inch every 2 years. Around Grand Isle, it took 20 years for the sea level to rise around 10 inches. Scientists now forecast that the sea will rise another 10 inches in just the next 15 years.

The ocean is coming soon to the front porches of climate change deniers.

Scientists have documented an abnormal and dramatic surge in sea levels along the U.S. gulf and southeastern coastlines since about 2010, raising new questions about whether New Orleans, Miami, Houston and other coastal communities might be even more at risk from rising seas than once predicted.

[snip]

The increase has already had major effects, researchers found. One study suggests that recent devastating hurricanes, including Michael in 2018 and Ian last year, were made considerably worse by a faster-rising ocean. Federal tide gauge data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration suggest that the sea level, as measured by tide gauge at Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans, is eight inches higher than it was in 2006, just after Hurricane Katrina.

Uhm if the oceans rise .. they rise all over

Stop relying on Washington Compost

Has anyone told Barack Obama about this? He just bought an oceanfront mansion.

Great...more propaganda and alarmism.

Now... Lets see what is REALLY happening...(minus the alarmism)...

WOW...a small, steady, logarithmic rise that goes back at least to 15 years after the close of the American Civil War.

How anti-climactic.

Now, tell me again about that expected 2 foot rise...

No my job was quality control. Making sure my company built the levees to the Corp of Engineers specs, bet you feel like a dumbass now ? Never said anything about sea levels rising if they are they are not rising at the rates you morons are claiming. I had to come back and edit this because I was ignoring most of your post but you seem to have done the same because the article attributes most of the sea rise to sinking land and erosion.
