Scott Walker recall effort starts Tuesday

He needs to be recalled if for no other reason then to send a message that there are consequences to negating any right no matter the situation or rationalization.
There is no set in stone right to collective bargaining.
Collective bargaining rights are by legislation. Laws can be repealed or overturned.
The people of Wisconsin have spoken. Public workers who are opposed are free to find work in the private sector.

Have they? 2 republican state senators were recalled..and Walker is well on his way out.

So you have no reason to complain. The people are driving this..

No recall yet and no election yet, but you keep making those predictions. By the way, why aren't you demanding recalls in the States where democrats did the exact same thing as Walker.

Dems won 2 out of what... 9 recalls?

Color the GOP in WI worried.

And yet you have no comment when we link to Democratic Governors and legislatures doing EXACTLY the same thing as Walker did. Go figure.

Really? Which Democratic Governors or legislature is trying to take away the public unions right to collectively bargain?

Massachusetts Democrats Vote to Take Collective Bargaining Rights Away From Unionsl

New Jersey Democratic leaders take away collective bargaining rights
(and THIS one was from a favorite leftie source... KOS)

Illinois Democrats Joining Wisconsin Republicans to Attack Teacher Unions?

None of those states go anywhere near as far as Wisconsin has gone.

Yesterday, Robert J. Haynes, president of the AFL-CIO of Massachusetts, who had angrily vowed to “fight this thing to the bitter end’’ in April, said labor unions support the governor’s final plan, thanks to some last-minute changes Patrick negotiated. He congratulated the governor for listening to labor’s concerns.

There is the difference. Unions are quite willing to negotiate and work with states and municipalities. Wanker in WI and Kasich in OH didn't.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Opponents of Republican Gov. Scott Walker, spurred by anger over his successful push to take away nearly all public worker collective bargaining rights, blanketed the state Tuesday to launch an unprecedented effort to gather 540,000 signatures and force a recall election.

Hoping that those of us who are regular people and not rabble rousers will have the strength for the fight to keep Gov. Walker. It's been very wearing. But hopefully we will be able to see this through to the end and not falter.

We did well to elect Walker in this time of extraordinary financial difficulties.

Took someone with a clear management vision and a spine of steel to take on the public unions here.

Walker has been even better than I could possibly have imagined and I am so proud to have voted for him.

So running on a platform of "balancing the budget" and taking steps to do so is now deemed as being "radical".

So lets see....lets just say they get the recall...and he is out.....and some democrat comes in and repeals the collective bargaining law.....and ths unions force some new "finges" on the state in a new contract......and the budget doesnt balance and that governor is forced to pare down those employed by those unions....

Will you refer to him/her as radical as well?

well it is to the bottom feeders.

Power to the people baby! Time to close the "we're stuck with them" window down to to one year. They apparently need to be told in no uncertain terms to shelve their corporate/social agenda for a while and get some actual job creation going.

Was FDR also a radical in your eyes? He too stood against public sector collective bargaining rights. But you modern progressives know what's best for others I suppose.

Checking in on what the progressives and interventionists has brought us, as of this morning, you owe $133,348 towards the national debt:
U.S. National Debt Clock : Real Time

Yep, it's true, you do know what's best for others.

The 99% are the rabble? Wisconsin along with Utah is one of the two most progressive states in the nation: Wisconsin left wing leaning progressive, Utah right wing leaning progressive.

You think government creates jobs? Do you not realize that any money government uses to stimulate job growth must first come OUT of the private sector, generally from those citizens most likely to create jobs?

Ah the wonders of a public school education I guess...

You do not understand capital management, growth, and investment, do you?

whether he does or doesnt is irrelevant.

But it is quite obvious that the union bosses and negoatiators really dont give a crap about that stuff.
