COLUMBUS -- A bill designed to restrict collective bargaining by state employees has narrowly passed in the Ohio Senate.

Senate Bill 5 is lauded by supporters for allowing the state to lower costs and make state employees pay more for their health care and benefits, while still allowing collective bargaining for salaries.

Excellent. Now we need a few more states to follow suit. If the Federal employees cannot unionize, then State employees shouldn't either.

As a taxpayer I object to politicians taking union contributions, and then giving unions raises and more benefits. We just can't afford this scam.

As a taxpayer I object to politicians taking corporate contributions, and then giving corporations Tax breaks and tax money directly. We just can't afford this scam.
