UK Mail Online reports that Saudi Arabia has severed diplomatic ties with the United States.

Upset at President Barack Obama's policies on Iran and Syria, members of Saudi Arabia's ruling family are threatening a rift with the United States that could take the alliance between Washington and the kingdom to its lowest point in years.


Saudi Arabia's intelligence chief is vowing that the kingdom will make a 'major shift' in relations with the United States to protest perceived American inaction over Syria's civil war as well as recent U.S. overtures to Iran, a source close to Saudi policy said on Tuesday.


Prince Bandar bin Sultan told European diplomats that the United States had failed to act effectively against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, was growing closer to Tehran, and had failed to back Saudi support for Bahrain when it crushed an anti-government revolt in 2011, the source said.

Have you been paying attention to this? Jordan and the UAE has indicated they will follow the Saudis into a break with the US. Saudi Arabia has been an ally of the US since 1932. It took obama to end that.

So what, who needs the Saudis anyway? They are just rich muslims in a backward desert kingdom. We don't need them, or Jordan, or the UAE, or Egypt, or Pakistan.

Pay attention. Brazil has broken ties with the US over obama's spying. France is doing the same thing. Germans have taken to the streets to protest obama. By the time the democrats are done, the US will not have a single ally in the world.

The Saudis are forming a new alliance. With another country that doesn't trust obama. Israel. A Saudi/Israeli alliance will dominate the middle east.

It's the best news to come out since France indicated a willingness to break with the US over obama's spying or Egypt throwing us out over the democrat support for the muslim brothehood. It will be even BETTER when Jordan and the UAE dump the democrats. By the time obama is done, so will our alliances. Unfortunately, the house the democrats are building will have to be totally demolished before renovations can start. The Saudi's breaking the alliance we had since 1932, is a good start.

I said this in here a few Months ago....

When smaller Countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, et al feel like they can no longer trust their protector -- The United States in this case, they'll look somwhere else for that protection.

Saudi Arabia is stinking rich. Beyond rich. Other Countries in the area who aren't so rich would like to move in and take some of that money from them. Iran for instance.

So who do the Sauds turn to? I don't know. Not Israel, that ain't gonna happen.

Maybe Russia but they appear to be on the other side. Who else?

Maybe India? More likely China. If they make a switch at all. Which I think they'll wait until after the 2016 elections to make a final decision.
