According to the Daily Caller, Santa Clara University student senate has turned down a petition for the formation of a Turning Point USA chapter at their college, and all because leftist students and faculty said the formation of such a group would make them feel “unsafe.”

During a meeting of the Associated Student Government, a group of 50 students and school employees took up an hour to explain why such a group should not exist on their campus right after a lengthy powerpoint presentation that attempted to tie Turning Point USA to white supremacist groups.

You have to admit, this "safety" issue thing was a pretty smart move by the Regressive Left.

See, they're just trying to protect the students from violence brought on by those same students protesting.

Universities get public funds they are public spaces.

Such colleges should lose not only any federal funding that they may be receiving, but also be taken into the federal courts for the violation of the First Amendment on the freedom of speech and the freedom of peaceful assembly. The ACLU should also get involved.

You are completely ignorant, the funds come from congressional legislation, free speech is protected in all public spaces which the SCOTUS has ruled several times.
