To clarify for those who care one way or another about gay marriage, Pegwinn is taking option 2 (of the two I posted) remove all legal and government offered rights, regulations, and benefits to marriage and let just the religions deal with it. That also means no tax exemptions, no automatic rights to estates, etc.
Put all that legal stuff into a separate union that is solely a contract with the government between two people.
