The mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin has said in a statement that Moscow residents should refrain from trips around the city as far as possible given a counter-terrorism operation has been declared and said the situation was “difficult”, Reuters reports.

Sobyanin also said in the statement, released on Telegram, that Monday would be a “non-working day” in order “to minimise risks”.

The Wagner Group Forces are now about 250-Miles from the Russian Capitol. Video Footage out of Rostov On Don show people taking pictures of Armor controlled by Wagner. Rostov On Don is the headquarters of the Southern Russian Military District, which give Wagner Group access to military equipment and supplies. There are reports Russian Military Helicopters being shot down as well.

Putin's plane is said to have gone to St. Petersburg (that was denied by the Kremlin). There is another exodus of private jets to Turkey and probably Dubai and other places.

The videos coming out are just crazy. Wagner has downed 1x KA-52, 2x Mi-8, and 1x IL-22M communications aircraft. Russian forces are defecting and joining the convoy to Moscow which is something like 400 vehicles in 4 columns.

The Russian forces in Ukraine are paralyzed, they have no leadership or support. The Russians are blowing up their own oil depots to prevent Wagner from getting the fuel.

What special measures have been introduced in Moscow?​

The mayor of Moscow has just announced that Monday will be a "non-working day" and asked people to restrict their movement around the city, as the capital braces for possible repercussions of the Wagner rebellion.

Earlier, Russian authorities announced a "counter-terrorist operation" in the city of Moscow, the Moscow region, and Voronezh region to south.

This gives authorities a number of special powers including:

• Restricting the movements of people and transport
• Monitoring or restricting communications
• The right to search people and vehicles
• Evacuating the population if needed

We should offer Russia admittance to the alliance built to counter it? If Russia falls what would be the point of the NATO alliance? Beyond the US footing the bill in defense of Europe and tying the US to enter into wars that may or may not be in it's best interest.
