Rubio vs. Athiest

Some people need a higher power to make it through the day. We have laws that protect us from the beliefs of their higher powers, so we don't need to be to worried about it.

People are all the same
Flawed
Majority does not necessarily mean correctness.
It's a very flawed concept.

Sounds like god didn't do a very good job when he was in the creation business....

Obviously not, he had to do it twice if you believe the OT.

Good response from the Marco. Why are atheists such obnoxious assholes? He's worried someone will take his porn away or something? Atheists want the right to not be offended and any sign of Christianity is an offense.

Atheists spend far too much time blabbering away about and trying to convince others of something they don't believe in
Uh-huh, and most of them don't even appear to realize that atheism is FAITH BASED, so the self gratification they derive from their faux intellectual superiority over people of faith is complete poppycock.

They are allows good for a few laughs though. ;)

It is not faith based for someone to not believe in the existence of supernatural being for which there is no evidence of its existence.
.
Provide evidence that the divine doesn't exist; since you cannot your theory of creation isn't any more valid than any of the plethora of divine creation theories which exist, thus you are taking it on FAITH that yours is the correct one. Your idiotic false dichotomy is a logical fallacy of the highest order but of course you're too ignorant to realize that.

ATHEISM = FAITH BASED always has been, always will be, welcome to the flock of the faithful.

What he did was give us a choice.
Once we chose our own will vs. His, that is when the trouble started.
We are not robots.

I see. god created us with flaws, tells us that none of us are without sin, and then blames us for sinning.

I had a boss like that once.

If a God gave you your rights, a God can take them away.

God is God. He can do whatever he wants. But it is ALWAYS for perfect goodness. He can not do evil nor sin.

Is that why he chooses to refuse to reveal his existence?

He'll reveal his existence soon enough but not when you demand He does.

So you concede that Jesus didn't reveal the existence of God. Why the big to-do then?

I concede, on your behalf, that you're another atheist piece of shit. You won't be a man and do it so someone has to do it for you. Glad to be the one.

All anyone has to do is look around, it's impossible all this is some huge accident where everything aligned to perfection. The odds are staggering

You left out the part about being able to be forgiven for those sins if you're sincere in asking.

Bet your boss couldn't do that.

Not believing in the Easter Bunny is not a religion.
But it's just as much faith to believe in a secular cause. Maybe more.

Our country was founded on freedom of religion and not Christian, , and also we never became Judeo Christian until Israel became a state. I wish they would get history right.
Wrong. You know zero history. They opened congress with prayer and sent bibles to the troops, there's a whole bunch written on it. We have freedom of religion but not freedom to never be exposed to it.

Yes they came to get away from the Church of England and started their own Puritan. The founders were not Christians. Our constitution is not based on Christianity. We did become a Christian nation, but we were not founded on it.
Most of the founders were Christians, you are full of it. Only a few were deists and atheists were not to be found, except maybe Payne. The Constitution is a secular document of law but that doesn't mean the values came out of thin air. The founders were born here, they didn't leave England, those were subjects of the crown. The founders wanted no state religion, like the Church of England.

Providence. Freedom of religion. Separation of state and church.
That doesn't mean they weren't religious or influenced by it.

Then you acknowledge that to a rational mind God only exists in the imagination.

God is real. At the time you'll get to see Him, it will be too late and I doubt the human mind can imagine how bad that will be.

Since I haven't seen an actual picture of the relative you claim I evolved from 20,000 generations ago, the rational mind can only come to the conclusion that it didn't happen.

I am not a Rubio fan but he handled the situation real well.
Honey, you succeeded to erupt yet another war about religion...

I think they were enlightened intellectuals for the most part, and some raised as Christians, I mean the Church of England was Protestant.

If Christianity is the true religion based on the infallible word of God,

why is it broken up into so many sects each one disagreeing with the next?

I've always wondered the same thing.

Are all religions correct and truthful?

I want to punch this atheist for asking a dumb question from a guy he knew he was never voting for anyways. And for causing this blabbering from Rubio.

Then I want to punch everyone in the crowd for applauding Rubio's blabbering.

Then I want to punch Rubio for his blabbering, and for causing the applause.

I guess what I'm saying is I hate everyone in this video.

As he went on an on, who in their right mind believe God came down to earth as a man. If they believe that they do not know the bible. Never even as a RC did I ever think God was Jesus, but Jesus was the son of God. What does Jesus pray to himself, and please don't try talking to me about the trinity. The last thing we need is a preacher for a President.

Ahhhhh shaddup, you're not going to shake my faith so just shut up already

And you not going to get me to believe that God impregnated the virgin Mary.

I couldn't care less what you believe, there lies your problem, if you don't believe I don't care. Now, I do believe....tolerate my beliefs

You faith is weak if I could talk you out of it, but I'll be quiet.

Agreed Sassy, there is a whole well ordered universe full of indirect evidence for the existence of a creator; the alternative theory would have one believe that the universe either came into existence spontaneously (no cause and effect) or created itself both of which are illogical conclusions IMHO.

Of course that observation will not deter an atheist from looking down their nose at anyone that believes in the existence of the divine, that's because they are small minded individuals that cannot cope with the deeper questions of existence and must therefore retreat to the safety of easy answers. It also explains why atheists have a tendency to be gub'mint worshipers since it's easy for them to replace God with Government to fill the void.

You don't have a chance, trust me. My faith is the biggest part of my life, it defines me. Get over yourself ya phucking moron

Some hateful anti Semite will NEVER influence me

I've seen and witnessed the power of prayer and it proves the existence of God to me. There is nobody on the planet that could ever convince me differently
