Romney's history making screw up.

The Multi Millionaire Businessman and Governor vs. the Community Organizer.

What laughing stock!

Obby's gonna be sellin shoes in down town Chicago soon. Michele can go back to her corrupt hospital and turn away the poor again. Fuck Face's both of them.
Whatever the Obamas decide to do after January of 2017, they'll be far more successful than you ever will.

He denounced the statement for which he held the administration responsible.

And yes the statement was released before the attack, which means both the embassy and the Egyptian government knew it was coming, and of course all of that's been confirmed.

What's inaccurate? Be specific.

"The Obama administration's first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks,"
Fact-checking Romney's statements on Libya attacks - San Jose Mercury News

That was Romney's first statement to the press regarding the "response". The "response" he was referring to came from the consolate and was issued prior to any attacks. It was meant to quell anger over the video that had gone viral on youtube. The attack itself, doesn't seem to have come from protestors..and may have been an Al Qaeda operation meant to address a drone attack that killed one of their leaders in Libya.

By the way..this sort of thing is nothing new. Bush went far beyond "apologizing" during the surge. Part of tactics they used..was borrowed from a template learned from COIN in Vietnam. What they did was actively recruit former Al Qaeda fighters and enemies in Iraq to help the effort to quell the violence. They were called the "Sons of Iraq". I don't recall either party condemning that activity when it was on going.

Blah . . . blah . . . blah . . . blah. Huh? Incoherent drivel.

We don't care about the rationalization for the statement. It was disgraceful. Inexcusable. Unacceptable.

Period.

Statements? The only statement that needed to be made was from the White House telling the Egyptian government that it had better damn well make sure that our embassy and its personnel are protected from assault.

Period.

We know the embassy's pussy-ass statement was issued before the attack, by some reports up to six hours before!

That means both the embassy and the Egyptian government knew it was coming.

What the hell happened?

How did this breach of security happen?

Romney's initial remarks went to the Cairo embassy's statement. He denounced it, and hours passed before the Administration—what the hell was it doing?—distanced itself from the statement, essentially saying the same thing as Romney: that the statement was inappropriate and did not reflect America's values.

All Romney did in addition to denouncing the statement was to hold the Administration responsible for it, which, politically speaking, was unnecessary.

The president is responsible for what our embassies say! Albeit, that's not the same thing as the White House actually ordering or directing the embassy to make that statement. But Romney didn't say the White House did that. He merely said the White House was responsible for that statement given that (1) the Administration did not address the inappropriateness of it for hours and (2) Obama's foreign policy of appeasement and apology is essentially the impetus of it.

That punk apologized for America on foreign soil, accusing his own country of arrogance and torture (waterboarding), as if we were not at war with barbarous Islamic fascists.

The timing of the embassy's statement is irrelevant, except that it was issued before. For obvious reasons that fly right over the heads of some, that's even more damning! 9/11! The video was just an excuse. The instigators, the leaders, the organizers of this attack merely used the video to fire up the mob! Hell, most of those idiots think that the U.S. government is directly reasonable for the video or that the U.S. government has a responsibility to prevent its release. LOL! Bumpkins. Idiots. Know-nothing rabble.

The White House and the leftist mainstream media in the bag for Obama is merely trying to confound the matter, misdirect and change the nature of what Romney was getting at, however politically inadvisable it was at this time.

I would that Romney had simply denounced the statement and left the rest for the debates. You see, I knew the leftist media would pull this crap and that a handful of stupid, kiss-ass, beltway "conservatives" could always be found to undermine the Republican candidate's point.

And what has been the result. Clinton, the very next day, essentially reiterates the same nonsense about the video, and the Administration's press secretary claims this worldwide calamity is due to the video, not to any failings of American foreign policy. Right. Of course not.

The attack on the Libyan consulate is another matter altogether.

Good stuff. You dodge my points by calling it "incoherent drivel", the go on to prattle what essentially is self contradictory and incoherent drivel.

First off..you incorrectly point out that Obama apologized for anything. He did not. What he did was acknowledge what everyone already knew..that Operation Ajax..happened.

Secondly you point out that the "Egyptian" government, which is still in flux, was responsible for the protection of the embassy. That's laughable. Even moreso given that they haven't even agreed on a new Constitution yet..and there is a great deal of tension between the military and the civilian government. Even more laughable is the contention that American foreign policy should not be in the business of explaining American free speech. Just several weeks ago, irresponsible conservative talking heads contended that Hillary Clinton was responsible for the Muslim Brotherhood getting elected in Egypt. That drew the ire of Egyptians opposed to the Muslim Brotherhood and her motorcade was attacked.

People in these countries do not understand how American media works. They've lived in a system where all their media is filtered through the government..so anything in their media is government approved and supported. That's not the case in this country.

It's shocking that you folks don't know this.

And it's equally shocking that you folks don't believe a foreign presence in a country isn't going to stir intense nationalism.

It's like you folks believe there is only one country..and in that one country..only one way to do things.

Oh, I remember you now, Sallow. You're among the pathological lying leftists on this board.

First, Obama did essentially apologize for American policy in Cairo at the beginning of his administration, saying that America was allegedly traumatized out of its values by 9/11. That's clearly what I'm talking about. Nothing else. What are you babbling about? LOL! Like you, Obama is a damn liar, a coward and a traitorous pig.

Second, the Egyptian government was perfectly capable of stopping any attack on our embassy, especially with several hours notice. You idiot. It did just that very effectively within hours after the assault started. The Egyptian government is nothing like the fledgling Libyan government. Shut up. Liar.

Third, I'm fully aware of the common man's ignorance in the Islamic world. That was the point of my observation. Idiot. Liar. They are morons, know-nothings easily manipulated by the organizers who could care less about the two-month-old video used to fire up the mob.

In short, you never touched the substance of what I wrote whatsoever. You're so obvious. Typical, leftist, change the subject, prattle on about stawmen.

No. What is shocking is that you leftist idiots do not see that the goal of the organizers, the instigators of these riots is to impose Sharia Law in these various countries, replacing the democratic rule achieved in some. The rest is just the white noise of the instability and chaos along the road to that goal.

Naive Dumbass.

But of course the mentality rioting in the Islamic world is essentially the same mentality of leftists the world over: selfish, self-centered, hateful, know-nothing, destroy, tear down, barbaric.

You thought this personal attack "important" enough to send me a pm?

Guys..this is not a way to debate.

But..it does offer an interesting insight into your world view. Which I posted means..one way..one country..one people..and one religion. Yours.

Right! Another debate altogether having nothing to do with the substance of my original post whatsoever. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Change the subject and raise straw men . . . as if it were not Islamic fascists demanding their way at the expense of all others, by the way.

Yep. Lefty sides with Islamic fascists. This trend started in earnest during the late 1970s, with leftist pukes taking up the phony Palestinian cause against Israel. It's no surprise to me that clearly half of the Democratic delegates at the DNC opposed supporting Israel's historic stance in the Democratic Platform.
