Romney leads Obama in Michigan

Anyone from the UP? I think it could be the Lord's gift to the planet. I don't think a lot of people know how absolutely beautiful Michigan is.

Havent been there since I was a kid, my buddy takes his boat all the way from Detroit to the U.P. I've been meaning to ride with them, maybe I'll do it this summer

You have to go. It's the closest to primal that you can get in the east apart from the far north but that's a whole different ball game.

You go far north you're talking a completely different game. That's where mosquitoes turn into drones and they lick "off" of your face like it's a teaser. You get a concussion when you try to slap one off.

LOL! No kidding!! You might be talking about those little bugs they call "no-see-ums". There like a tiny gnat, but when they bite you they leave a HUGE welt! I had one right between my eyes once...wouldn't go outside for a week!

You seem to like the idea of an economy in Michigan that requires the populace to be fed in soup lines.............so you can feel good about feeding the hungry. Get it?

I love Michigan. I'm making that perfectly clear right here right now. I may be a huge canuck conservative but I love you guys even though you voted for Granholme.

I didn't vote for Granholm....she was an idiot. Since Snyder became governor there have been more businesses coming to the state, things are starting to look up!
What surprises me are that there are SO MANY casino's going in around here! We like to go to them once in a while, and we would always have to drive 1 1/2 hrs to the closest one. Now we have one about 15 miles from us and more coming!

I'm unable to google anything that will tell me how many new business have come in...i'm still looking! But I can say that there have been no businesses in our area that have closed up in many months...in fact in our small town we've had 6 new businesses come in just recently. We're not hearing of many small businesses closing their doors in the larger cities any longer like we did just a couple yrs ago.

I have considered both men. I find that Romney is infinitely better than Obama in every way imaginable. He's simply the better man.

Whatever! Lol...
I've lived in this state for close to 60 yrs...i see what's happening and what people are saying. I don't have time to search for what you want, if you don't want to believe it...then that's ok. It's the policies that the state has put in place since getting rid of Granholm. Snyder is doing just what people voted him in to do. Yes, he pissed some people off at first, they thought he was going overboard. Now we see the good it's done for our state. No, it's not Obama's policies that got us here....FAR from it!
