Romney gives up in two swing states

You've got to be joking. I bet a huge number of people vote based on campaign ads they see on television. Maybe not as many as in the past, but still a huge number.

Mitten gave up on his home state. That's hysterical. :)

And they are either stupid or insane... Slogan, smear, etc... the typical ad.... and the typical moron that gets swayed by them

If you're not looking in to the issues, I fully believe that it is insane that you are voting
I would bet a majority of Americans would fall in to the "uninformed voter" catagory, only knowing what they see in tv ads and hear on the nightly news.

Then by that thought, I would call the 'majority of Americans' morons for doing such a thing

If you make up your mind because of a slogan or ad, you're insane

I will be curious to see the ongoing poll #'s to see if this really has an effect in either state

Where do you think the money goes when the Koch brothers and unions donate? Political ads, that's where. And why would anyone spend billions of dollars on political ads? Because they work. There are enough idiots out there who are swayed by a simple 30-second ad on TV. Sad but true.

The saturation is what sways voters; not the ads themselves. I'm glad that the only place they're advertising in PA and MI are on the backs of milk cartons.

The Romney campaign and conservative groups like Crossroads GPS have pulled TV ads in Michigan, Romney’s home state, according to the Detroit News.

Nor are the campaign and super PACs running advertising in Pennsylvania, after unleashing a barrage there over the past five months.

This OP is just another Ravi lie.

Michigan and Pennsylvania were never swing states, something the GOP apparently just figured out.

Michigan and Ohio will be tough for Romney as people are really beginning to realize how many jobs were saved by the auto bailouts. The bailouts had a much bigger impact than just saving the jobs in the auto industry and people do understand this. On top of that, Ohio's unemployment rate is down around 7%, much better than the national average. While Ohio is still very much in play, I think that will change the closer we get to election day.

RCP has Romney down by only 0.7% in Ohio. I doubt he's giving up there, and it may not be as hard to take it as you indicate.

Apparently Full Auto agrees with you that MI and PA were in the Obama column all along.

Did I doubt that donations go to ads?? Nope

The ads work like sheepdogs work on sheep

The Ue is dropping here because of the shale oil boom. We have tons of jobs out there just waiting to be filled by people.

If gas drops again before the election, it will be harder for mittens to gain trackion.

I agree.

The fact that Romney can't win in either his home state or the state where he was governor pretty much says it all. He's got to be praying for a miracle at this point.

If Obama sucked as much as you liars claimed, shouldn't Romney be riding high after his wonderful convention? Obama didn't have anyone thoughtful enough to upstage Obama, with a stupid empty chair shtick.

Funny how the Tea Baggers claim this is an example of socialism, and Romney now wants to own it. Shake that Etch-a-Sketch.

And there are certainly a lot of sheep out there. The ads work.

Ohio will be a nice prize for Obama to add to his ever-increasing number of states when it's all said and done.

The governor is circling the drain. Is "beretta" your sock puppet?

PA was a tough win for President Obama (praise be unto Him!) in 2008.

And now with the voter disenfranchisement, it will be even tougher.

Or did you mean that it's not a swing state because Mittwit has it locked up?
