I'm not judging anyone I'm merely making some observations about a brutalized population that has been brainwashed to the point of being dysfunctional. I don't think there's any doubt that North Korea is in that situation.

Here are some 'other' observations that have to be just as valid.
N.K. has procured nuclear weapons so it can defend itself against American aggression.
The people aren't brainwashed into thinking that America will invade, they know it from America's track record of Iraq and dozens of other examples.

Having said that I supposed to some extent it could apply to North America also but certainly not to the same extent. If anything my heart is extended to those poor people and their plight.

You should be careful when trying to ascertain someone else's motives. I have no intentions of pulling any horns nor am I aware of any.
The human catastrophe that is North Korea has spawned a nation of some 25 million mentally crushed and emotionally enslaved human beings who would hardly know what it meant to have a free thought. I find it incredulous that anyone would think to try to ban suicide in order to curb the prevalence of it. We're talking about the man who shot one of his sleeping generals with an anti-aircraft gun. I will admit that sometimes I say things that sound insensitive, I suspect you may be reminding me of that. I generally have a great deal of respect for your views... I'm not exactly sure which view you're trying to express here.
No worries...I am always on the lookout for a views correction...
Happens to me a lot and I accept the inevitable conclusion that I need them from time to time.
