Rutger Hauer dead at 75

Legendary "Blade Runner" actor Rutger Hauer died on Friday in the Netherlands, his native country, at the age of 75, his agent confirmed to the BBC today.

He was one of my favorites back in the day. Usually the off beat, semi psychotic type.
The Hitcher was a good one.

Rutger Hauer was a great act! He could make you madder than a hatter when he was the bad guy, Oooooo did you ever want to ring someone's neck, it was the character he brought to life. And when he was a good guy, all the girls swooned and wished they were his leading lady.

RIP, Rutger Hauer. Thanks for using your talent so selflessly to entertain people around the world and from every walk. We've lost a great talent. But his work will be a teacher to young actors for decades into the future.
