Right-wing Blame Game Continues: Blaze Insinuates Trayvon Martin Was A Troublemaker

Why isn't this thread talking about the lack of LE action? An unarmed young man was killed by and another who confessed. Did this young man approach him in an angry por antagonistic manner? What did the police tell this man to do? Why isn;t he in jail awaiting an investigation of this matter?

Why this boy was suspended from school has no bearing on his murder. Yes. Murder. It was intentional.

Is there no shame on the fringes of the right? A boy's life tragically ended at the hands of a community watchman who was told by police to back off - a teen armed with only a bag of Skittles and a can of tea (oh, and of course the hoodie that Fox's Heraldo Rivera blames for the incident) - and all the right can do is look for excuses to defend the alleged shooter and reasons to blame the victim. Glenn Beck's The Blaze website has stooped to a new low.

What's next - drag his parents into it? Let's see if they have a criminal record; if they raised that boy right.

What fucking world are you living in? They're not just going to throw the shooter in jail and throw away the key. They need to investigate this properly. Did you not think Trayvon's character was going to be called into question? It's the right thing to do considering the circumstances. Of course if you don't like our justice system you can always move to Iraq or Afghanistan.

Sharpton Calls for Arrest of George Zimmerman After Shooting of Trayvon Martin in ‘Self-Defense’ | Video | TheBlaze.com

We’re also learning more about Trayvon Martin. According to reporters he had been suspended from school. The International Business Times says Martin’s suspension was due to last for 10 days. But what exactly was he suspended for in the first place? Sources sympathetic to Martin say he was suspended for “excessive tardiness.” However, a quick review of both the local policies for Martin’s school, the Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School, and of the Miami-Dade school district’s district-wide policies, raise some doubts. According to Miami-Dade policy, in order to get a suspension of 10 days, Martin would have had to either commit “repeated, serious or habitual” acts of the following:

• Cheating/Misrepresentation
• Confrontation with a staff member
• Defiance of school personnel
• Distribution of items or materials that are inappropriate
for an educational setting*
• Failure to comply with previously prescribed corrective
strategies
• False accusation
• Fighting (minor)
• Harassment (non-sexual or isolated)
• Instigative behavior
• Leaving school grounds without permission
• Joining clubs or groups not approved by the School Board
• Libel
• Petty theft (under $300.00)
• Use of profane or provocative language directed at someone
• Prohibited sales on school grounds (other than
controlled substances)
• Possession and/or use of tobacco products
• Slander
• Vandalism (minor)

Or even occasional offenses from the following:
• Assault/Threat against a non-staff member
• Breaking and Entering/Burglary
• Bullying (repeated harassment)*
• Disruption on campus/Disorderly conduct
• Fighting (serious)
• Harassment (Civil Rights)**
• Hazing (misdemeanor)
• Possession or use of alcohol and/or controlled
substances
• Possession of simulated weapons
• Sexual harassment**
• Trespassing
• Vandalism (major)

Or of the following:
• Grand theft (over $300.00)
• Hate crime
• Hazing (felony)
• Motor vehicle theft
• Other major crimes/incidents
• Sale and/or distribution of alcohol and/or controlled substances
• Sex offenses (other) (including possession and/or
distribution of obscene or lewd materials)

Or possibly even of the following, each of which carries a minimum suspension of ten days:

• Aggravated assault
• Aggravated battery against a non-staff member
• Armed robbery
• Arson
• Assault/Threat against M-DCPS employees or persons
conducting official business
• Battery or Aggravated battery against M-DCPS employees
or persons conducting official business*
• Homicide
• Kidnapping/Abduction
• Making a false report/threat against the school*
• Sexual battery
• Possession, use, sale, or distribution of firearms, explosives,
destructive devices, and other weapons.

But whatever the reason, it‘s a case that you’ll probably be hearing more about in the future.

Notice the last sentence. They've just called into question Trayvon's character, questioning the reason for his suspension followed by a list of serious crimes that could get a student suspended, but "whatever the reason". You know, we're not saying that Trayvon Martin was a dangerous teen who got suspended from school for committing criminal acts, but here's a list of serious crimes - including rape and murder - that could get a teen suspended from school.....just sayin'.

What's next - drag his parents into it? Let's see if they have a criminal record; if they raised that boy right.

Being suspended for 10 days that's pretty bad wouldn't you agree?

Are you part of the investigation team? Exactly how do you know how Zimmerman approached Martin the recently suspended from high school young adult male?

That isn't what I said. I asked, "Did the young man approach Zimmerman in an angry or antagonistic manner? Answer..."No." Trayvon did not approach Zimmerman at all, but Zimmerman shot him just the same.

The OP was critical of The Blaze's smear campaign against Trayvon. The Blaze calling Trayvon's character into question has nothing to do with the American justice system. Try some reading comprehension.

I am done jumping to conclusions just because the victim was black. They got me with the Duke LaCrosse faux rape case.

Look at some facts here.
(1) Martin was 6'3! Not the short kid that the pictures portray him to be. Zimmerman had to look up to the kid.
(2) Yes he was skinny, but baggy clothing doesn't always make he weight estimates clear.
(3) Zimmerman had a broken nose! You don't get that from a "victim" just running away!
(4) There were grass stains and ripped clothes. Evidence of a struggle. Again that doesn't equate to a running away "victim."

Other Facts:
(1) Martin was still 100 lb lighter
(2) Confronted by Zimmerman
(3) The 911 tape that appears to sound like fucking coon
(4) Witnesses say Zimmerman did chase him and then there was struggle
(5) Even if he was hit was deadly force necessary? Doesn't seem like it.

Point is there is more here than Sharpton and the other Black Supremacist are making it out to be. Just because the left is used to screaming whenever their is dissent doesn't mean we have to not voice dissent!

Zimmerman suffered a broken nose, says attorney - Video on msnbc.com

Let me get this straight. You feel that because Trayvon was suspended from school, it supports Zimmerman's argument that Trayvon was the aggressor? Utterly ridiculous. You have no idea why he was suspended; and even if you did - even if it was for a violent offense - his suspension has absolutely nothing to do with this incident.

Uh Jose, Zimmerman is Hispanic like you. Aren't you ashamed of your race right now? Or are you still pretending he's White?

My gawd, you are one stupid motherfucker. The name is Josef K. Josef, not Jose. And it's not my real name; it's the name of the protagonist in a Franz Kafka story. My actual first name is Patrick. Anyway, when have I ever 'pretended' that he's white? Never mind. You're a clueless hack. Go put on your tinfoil hat and stick your head in the microwave.

If Zimmerman isn't white, then why all the sanctimonious outrage from the likes of Al Sharpton, yourself and Company?

Are you seriously trying to claim that by bringing up the hottest racial news story of the week, you are not at all bringing race into the discusion?

If it wasn't for race, this wouldn't even be a story.

Interesting that the more investigation gets done, the less 'innocent' Trayvon looks...

What gets me is suddenly some are making this a right/left fight. That is assinine. I am on the side of those who want more facts so we can get to the truth and I am alarmed at how the media has deliberately spread lies, such as the fact that Zimmerman is Hispanic, not white, and the fact that Martin was 6'2" and a much rougher looking than he is in the younger photos they keep circulating. Why the need to to change the image of both of them? Why can't we just lay all the facts out and take it from there with no games being played?

When you see facts being intentionally distorted, you know there is something wrong.

We have the Black Panthers making death threats against Zimmerman, and not a shred of outrage from the media about that.

Why are they being so selective about what information they report? Seems they are carefully spoonfeeding certain things to people and all too many are willing to take it at face value without question. The press is putting forth a theory of racism and inciting fear in blacks that gun toting whacko whites are after them. While thankfully, this sort of incident is rare, the media and some politicians are treating it like an epidemic while other violent crime plagues us each day and don't get near the attention. This seems to be a case that some see as politically advantageous because they can play the race card (after turning Zimmerman into a white guy), they can attack the Florida law (even though it's fine) and they can push for more gun control, which is always on the agenda for the left.

When laws get broken, you don't change the law, you arrest the person who broke the law. Most crimes in this country are committed by criminals who likely have illegal guns. Yet, the government tends to punish the responsible people by taking away more of their rights.

If Zimmerman is guilty of this crime, it is minority on minority crime. That isn't the stuff headlines are made of nor anything that can be used to push one's agenda, but that is what we have here if Zimmerman is lying.

Maybe Trayvon was a troubled teen, which isn't exactly shocking and maybe not pertinent to his death. If Trayvon was the agressor and Zimmerman is telling the truth, then a history of getting into fights would be relevant.

In an investigation where there are two different versions being told, both need to be looked at.

Nice.

And what's this new race you came up with? Hispanic?

Since when is that a race?

Zimmerman is as much Hispanic now as he was the day he was born.

If we have zimmerman saying coon on the recording, being white or not white is meaningless.

That we can agree on. But shame on the Liberal Press for rushing to push their 'Evil Whitey kills Black Kid' Race-Baiting farce. They've hit rock-bottom for sure.

sigh its not the "liberal Press", its the sensational press that wants your viewship for ratings, which equal MONEY. A race game equals VIEWERS and money. They dont give a shit about liberal, conservative.

I havent even given my honest opinion about the case, but so far both sides are being retarded about it.

Zimmerman is a racist and over Zealous wannabe cop who got in over his head over nothing. The cops seemingly fucked this up with not arresting him on the spot. You fire your gun you should at least be detained downtown till things are sorted out.

But i havent dived to far into the case, nor will i. In the end i dont give to shits about the issue. Zimmerman is an asshole, A kid got killed, Some parents have their life messed up because of said actions.

Meanwhile the rest of society bicker....

At last, a qualified psychologist that can determine the state of mind of a person and determine that he is a racist and a wannabe cop without ever meeting the person. I don't have that expertise, and it is interesting that you can come to that conclusion from news accounts. You are one amazing dude.

According to the police report, Zimmerman was taken down town and interrogated after his injuries were attended to by an EMT at the scene. He had been knocked on his back and suffered a bleeding injury to the back of his head as well as to his face indicating he had been in a fight. He (Zimmerman) voluntarily gave the officer his gun and it was kept by the police. The conclusion based on the evidence was that he acted in self defense, which is not a crime, and was released.
