It is expected that no matter what the Republicans do or say when Kavanaugh accuser Ford appears before the Senate on Thursday the Democrats will viciously attack them for being sexists and treating Ford horribly....

So the GOP came up with an awesome plan that totally renders the Liberals strategy moot / un-useable:

"Committee Republicans “reserve the option to have female staff attorneys - who are sensitive to the particulars of Dr. Ford’s allegations and are experienced investigators - question both witnesses.”




The expected Liberal response was 'spot-on' and almost immediate.

Gee, that's probably because All 11 of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Republican members are male, giving the Democrats every opportunity to claim they were 'rude', 'disrespectful', 'threatening', 'hostile', etc...towards the women. Replacing them with extremely competent female lawyers shoots that pre-hearing tactic to hell!


Ford has already demanded 1) she not have to be in the same room as Kavanaugh when she makes her accusations and 2) that Kavanaugh testify 1st with her testifying afterwards with NO follow-ups.


BOTH demands have been denied. Kavanaugh will get the opportunity to face his accusers, and Kavanaugh will get the opportunity to rebut all accusations made against him.

It appears the railroading of Kavanaugh is NOT going the conspirators' way, and they are not happy about it.

That dodge is not going to work because they will still have to vote. They have made it clear it does not matter unless she can hold a New York premiere of a film showing him doing it. This is not a court of law and there is no reason for Kavanaugh to be in the same room. It shows the Republicans' true colors.
