The commission's final report offered new evidence of increased contact between Iran and al-Qaeda. The report contains information about how several of the 9/11 hijackers passed through Iran, and indicates that officials in Iran did not place entry stamps in their passports.

Trump's deterrent strike prevented a wider war. Iran began attacking the United States and the world order it helps to uphold this past year.

After Iran attacked us again, this time killing an American Interpreter and setting fire to the walls of our embassy, the United States' job was to raise the cost for Iran to the point that it's worse to continue and better to stop.

By striking and killing Iran’s most resourceful and clever military thinker and leader, America did exactly that.

If Soleimani had been left unmolested, his and Iran’s actions would have been far more awful than we can ever know.

The mullahs are extreme, but they are not imprudent.

Ruthless self-interest got them attacking in the first place, and it is what will restrain them now. That is how deterrence works. Trump and the United States let the Iranians know we will respond ruthlessly to their aggression.
