Red-Hot planet: All-time Heat Records set All over the World in past Week

Fairbanks, AK, USA
Sunday 3:00 pm...
86 | °F...
Hardly 'burning' for a sunny, summer afternoon, in Fairbanks.
I hope you're kidding Moron.
Average for July is 73/52
Here MORON:

fairbanks average summer high temp - Google Search

`

So you're stuck on averages There's 2 vitality important basics to any statistical measurement. ONE is the average -- the other is the VARIANCE. What is the summer time NORMAL variance for Fairbanks? You gonna look it up or am I?
I don't have to look up anything.
86 is Hot in Fairbanks

Nice try at the Burden shift and ambiguation though.
Too bad you're down 40 IQ points.
`
Why even try to argue with them? 86 degrees in Sweden is not normal! No matter what you say they will argue it! They are not worth the hassle!

And how much of that anomaly is caused by the 0.6DegC rise from GW in your lifetime?

It's weather. Not climate. Records ARE broken all the time because the VARIANCE in temperature in any one place is TEN TIMES the effect from Global warming.

In the town of Sodankyla, Finland, the thermometer on July 17 registered a record-breaking 90 degrees, a remarkable figure given that Sodankyla is 59 miles north of the Arctic Circle, in a region known for winter snowmobiling and an abundance of reindeer.

This is a hot, strange and dangerous summer across the planet.

Greece is in mourning after scorching heat and high winds fueled wildfires that have killed more than 80 people. Japan recorded its highest temperature in history, 106 degrees, in a heat wave that killed 65 people in a week and hospitalized 22,000, shortly after catastrophic flooding killed 200.

Ouargla, Algeria, hit 124 degrees on July 5, a likely record for the continent of Africa. And the 109-degree reading in Quriyat, Oman, on June 28 amazed meteorologists because that wasn’t the day’s high temperature. That was the low. It was the hottest low temperature ever recorded on Earth.
Climate change is supercharging a hot and dangerous summer

Only fools and idiots deny man-made climate change.

LOL

Where did you get your training in atmospheric physics?

Do you have any clue why earth ALWAYS appears paradoxical to the process as we cross into cooling and how it is identified?

And how much of that anomaly is caused by the 0.6DegC rise from GW in your lifetime?
Scientists are not sure. Are you?
Actually 0.6 deg C is the total rise of both AGW and Natural Variation. If you do the math on percentage of atmosphere the rise potentially attributed to man is less than 0.04 deg C.

Its funny that alarmist ignore that which would happen without man and falsely attribute it to man.

And how much of that anomaly is caused by the 0.6DegC rise from GW in your lifetime?

Don't you KNOW what the anomaly is ?? That's a given. It's measured and charted every month at RSS,UAH,GISS. What I added to that is that NATURAL VARIANCE range of temperatures in most areas runs about 10 TIMES that TOTAL anomaly.

So it's 5th grade math. If the anomaly is (say -- because Sat vs Ground is different) 1 DegC and the local VARIANCE for an average day (not taking seasonal changes in variance into account) is +/- 5 degC -- than in that case the anomaly is 1/10 of EXPECTED variance taken at (say) 1 std deviation.

RECORDS get set when you go farther out in variance to say 2 std dev. But -- statistically THAT would happen even if the temperature charts were completely flat as well.

The average temperature for July 2018 was the hottest ever recorded at Death Valley.
This July temperature record was also an all-time record for any month at Death Valley.
And it's a hot number.
The average monthly temperature was 108.1 degrees. The average monthly temperature is the average of the all the high temperatures and low temperatures for the month.

This summer is definately one for the record books. From the Arctic to the temperate zone, record heat for prolonged periods. Disastrous fires on all the Northern Continents. Fires, not only in the forests, but in the grasslands and wheat fields. Crops being ruined in many areas of Europe, as well as in the US. But our idiots will bury their heads in the sand, and pretend nothing is happening. What silly dumb asses.

Nah.....what's silly is any kind of thinking that humans can do something about it. Especially when China is opening 2 coal plants every month. Only progressives can't do the connect the dots exercise.:2up:. Thankfully for the rest of us most people can.

OOOp's

I guess you forgot to include the brand new solar array that was built within 100 feet of the sensor two years ago which not only changed wind pattern but the albedo of the surface near the sensor...

When these two encroaching factors are included the "hottest ev'a" bull shit gets tossed right in the garbage. When the factors are considered it raise ambient air temps 3.2 deg F on average.

Its not a problem in the alarmist world because fake rise is what they live for.. But us scientists look for the reasons why and when we look we find stupid shit like this is affecting most every sensor (except CRN which does not allow this type of encroachment) in the USHCN system.

Funny how you guy omit facts from your hyperbole... The Death Valley sensor has black solar panels (over 1000 sq ft) within 100 feet of the sensor which were installed a little over 2 years ago. I guess you idiots think placing a big black pad right next to a sensor wont change anything....

Doesnt matter to climate crusaders....whatever it takes to perpetuate the established narrative.

Ghey

The poor planet is hot. We need to cool it off by removing some of the thick insulation. Drill baby drill. And get those trees the hell out of the way in Appalachia and scrape some of that coal off there. Let her breathe.
