It is you who needs to get real. Did you honestly expect for Fox or some similar place to carry this story with pictures, etc. when it shows Democrats are winning the Senate races? Besides, PoliticusUSA is indeed a real Liberal website, *However*, have you noticed or looked at the links they use in most all of their stories to support what they're writing! Whenever you doubt something, click on the link they provide and then see that that is how it actually is. So, for those who think that PoliticusUSA can't be believed, Think Again! Aha! I see you didn't read the story or you would know. She is the Democratic challenger in the Georgia U.S. Senate race who is trouncing the two Republicans vying for the Senate seat in Georgia. For a Democrat, she is doing phenomenonally well in red Georgia!

Georgian here. Michelle Nunn hasn't a chance. Just because Sam Nunn was her father won't change much. Name recognition won't help her here. Republicans have cast a ton of early ballots here. Just imagine what it will be like in November.

Now, if Kingston were to win, Nunn would win. She's beating him in all but one of the local polls here. Perdue however is tied with her in those polls. If Perdue wins, she's toast. The electorate is extremely hostile to Democrats down here.

Nunn has won five of them. Kingston has won 2 and there was one absolute tie.

However, the RCP average is folly. The poll before the poll from Landmark Communications, from SUSA, is more than one month old. You usually don't average polls that are more than two weeks old with each other.

It is Landmark, a Republican firm, that is showing Michelle Nunn with a solid +8 over Kingston.

Indeed, the race is a very, very possible DEM pick-up opportunity in 2012.

GA and KY, both with strong female Democratic nominees, are the two prime pick-up possibilities for the DEMS in this senatorial mid-term cycle.

Like I said stat, the pickup is only viable if Kingston wins. I have high confidence that Perdue will pull off the win here. In that case such a scenario would fall by the wayside.

Oh by the way, a survey conducted by 11 Alive, an Atlanta Area news station, says both candidates have a good chance of beating Nunn. I don't put stock in polls conducted by news stations, but if that is coming from the Metro Atlanta area, then Nunn is doomed. Atlanta is majorly Democrat.

This is also from WSB-TV Channel 2, another major Atlanta area news station on July 11th. Nunn supposedly took in money from a felon Virtual Murrell, who was also a former Black Panther in the 1960's, and convicted of taking bribes from San Francisco businesses in 1994. The Nunn campaign has said it will give some of the money back. It did not say whether it would return all of it, as Kingston did when he found out he got $80,000 from a felon as well, he returned every penny. That issue for Nunn though, plus the many other scandals revolving around Democrats in Washington right now can only amalgamate into a problem for her. It was a big mistake not to vet the donors. Now she will have that hanging over her conscience, and her campaign:
