Recent movies seen.

I forgot about the movie 1408...written by Stephen King. Watched that this afternoon.

Just saw The Conjuring this week, and it was the scariest movie that I have ever seen. Took the kids to see The Lone Ranger and found it highly entertaining. I saw The Heat and thought that it was funny, but not exceptionally funny, about what I expected.

I like mob movies. Can't remember the name of it, but the one that was about the Flamingo and Annette Benning played in it. When the mob decided to build the first BIG casino. Good flick.

that would be Bugsy--I thought it was pretty good.

~~~~~~~
I don't know where my mind is--
I found 'Pillow Talk' on some retro channel--have watched it several times Rock Hudson/Doris Day--could barely stand it this time.
Then --'Sex and the Single Girl'---
not certain it is the films--
the night ended with 'Failure to Launch'--really not in the mood for that.
Wings - stupid, 3rd grader level, didn't even get through 10 minutes of it.
Bought it on the run thinking I was buying 'Planes.'
I only watch movies at home on TCM
Saw Ruggles of Red Gap (1935) the other day and died laughing.
Charles Laughton was incredible.
I can always lol or at least smile at 'My Cousin Vinnie'--Mariska Hargitaty and ?
a few months ago I was able to watch parts of 'A Prince of Tides'--
I have decided--'You really don't need to see The Butler'
still might see 'Jobs'--supposed to be 'terrible'.
Someday I really should see 'Star Wars'--when it was originally released I just didn't want to go--probably went to see Bill Murray in 'Caddyshack'--I had just seen 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' and a few others.
Still intend to see 'The King's Speech'.
question whether Diane Lane can pull off 'Hillary' --if that is what she wants to do---guess she will.
Meryl Streep--seems to be able to 'wear many hats'---was not in the mood to see 'Mamma Mia' again--love Abba--lol.
she may get her 18th nomination/win another oscar for this one.
Why are so many white folks against The Butler. Hell, I wasn't going to see it, now I feel as though I have to. :)
My favorites are horror and then adventure and action films like Unstoppable.
The Mad Butcher was quite surprisingly great. To keep busy, I have watched way too many of these lately.
Filth to Ashes, Flesh to Dust
Jack Frost
Naked Massacre
The Pit
Tormented
Tourist Trap
To break it up, Ernest helped in Ernest in the Army.
Saw Elysium on vacation. It was good.
Also watched Castaway with Tom Hanks. I really like Helen Hunt, but that role made me sad.
I just love watching too hanks survive on that island. It would be my dream to be stranded with only minimal supplies. A flint stick or magnifine glass would be a must
