Now I truly loved Django Unchained. However,

Slaves were a typical situation from Virginia > south. A 'boon' to our ability to build a world-power nation in those years. Absolutely abhorent through the post-Civil Rights lens, but reality. Now did all those white slavers deserve to die in Django? Afterall that was what Quentin seemed to be saying by killing Ms. Laura and then Django killing those Australian slaveholders simply b/c they were white. Did George Washington deserve to be killed?

Why does everyone conveniently forget that the North had slaves and northern factories depended on cotton produced with slave labor? The Confederacy only existed for about four years. The flag that flew from the stern of slave ships was the Union Jack and the French and Portugese flags and yes, the Stars and Stripes.

But blacks as slaves were a mere dot compared to global slavery by other races.
A tiny tiny tiny tiny percentage of global slaves were blacks.
Way-way-way more blacks were slaves - OWNED BY OTHER BLACKS - than whites owned slaves.
