Regardless of the OP cited poll, it's pretty fascinating to see how the Dems have lost sooo much ground in the last couple months according to just about every poll. If Trump was every bit as bad as you claim him to be, it should be incredibly easy to just step back, let him be a dumbass and completely fuck everything up then cruise to a victory in the mid-terms. Democrats just can't let a good opportunity go un-fucked up.

And the dent in the polling for the Dems can be put down to the very hard fought, vicious attacks by the Russo-Trump people to delegitimize the DOJ investigations.

Mueller may well release his report before he wants because to delay empowers the Alt Fact maneuvers of the Trumpers.

The fact that the American People do not want Rosenstein or Mueller touched or disturbed in these investigations may be a warning signal to the Trumpers on just how far they can go.

And people are wondering about Trump, "If you are fighting this so hard, what do you have to hide?

So, is it that the voters are too stupid to realize this? Or, they did realize this a few months ago but now forgot about it or now think that Trump isn't an evil demagogue?

Cause in my world, it looks like the democrats making a hysterically big deal out of anything that Trump says or does, plenty of which turns out positive, and it's turning voters against the democrats. Which, for some voters who only see a binary choice, would drive them toward the R side. If i'm missing something though, please let me know.

Hello there Coyote. The 1.4 lead is from last week. There is a new Reuters poll out as of yesterday---they do one every week---which shows the 6 point lead. Apparently Reuters hasn't updated their graph to include it, as yet---but it exists. Check it again later in the day, or tomorrow.

Of course, you Democrats learned the hard way back in Nov. 2016 not to trust polls run by the liberal media, like Reuters---and, well, its time to not trust Reuters---but until now, its poll was one of the main reasons for all the claptrap about "The Blue Wave".
