My opinion? Historically, American are one issue voters- they vote almost entirely based upon the economy. When it is good, they reelect incumbents. When it is bad, they reject incumbents.

I also think the Democrats are massively overplaying their hand. If they continue to push impeachment and the phony Russia conspiracy, they'll soon be experiencing deja vu ala 2016.

Hello there Coyote. The 1.4 lead is from last week. There is a new Reuters poll out as of yesterday---they do one every week---which shows the 6 point lead. Apparently Reuters hasn't updated their graph to include it, as yet---but it exists. Check it again later in the day, or tomorrow.

Of course, you Democrats learned the hard way back in Nov. 2016 not to trust polls run by the liberal media, like Reuters---and, well, its time to not trust Reuters---but until now, its poll was one of the main reasons for all the claptrap about "The Blue Wave".
