Rand Paul s money problem - Alex Isenstadt - POLITICO

It would seem Rand is having major issues attracting big billionaire donors to support his campaign. While Cruz, Bush, Rubio, Walker, and even Santorum all have secured rich sugar daddies to bankroll the bulk of their needed campaign money, Paul can't even secure the kind of wealthy donors his father did in 2012.

It's kind of surprising to hear the Koch's aren't even backing him much, but all they care about at this stage is electability, and they don't think Paul has it. So much for them being all libertarian and all....*rolls eyes*

My opinion on this is that he's gone all over the map policy wise so much that he's pretty much ruined his chance to be seen as the "perfect candidate" for anyone. He started out sounding moderate on some issues (foreign policy) and then going all out conservanut-crazy the next day on the same issue. Donors aren't really going to listen to the times they "like" your speeches, they only listen when they "don't" like your speeches.

Of course corporate America won't bank roll Paul. He opposes corporate welfare.

And who ever claimed the Koch Bros. were libertarians?
