I'd like to give some of the people here an IQ test.
Then we could post it next to their avatar, and take it into account when weighing opinions.:D

why 'test' them when we can get a relatively accurate gauge by their posts?

No, just the ignorant who didn't know who we fought in WWII

People who don't know who our current President is.

Morons like that, they are how Billiary got the White House.

And we all know that WE CAN NEVER AFFORD THAT AGAIN.

One should always think of how their proposed plan would/could be abused rather than how well it could be implemented. More often than not with government, as the bill moves forward from a well intended harmless proposal, it gets minor adjustments here and there as it support is being built in congress or to appease the president to sign it. Eventually it is signed into office looking quite different from its original intent. It may still be relatively harmless and work as intended for a while, but eventually (usually sooner than later) another administration comes along and interprets it different or has less than noble intentions.

For example rather than asking who we fought in WWII, they might later ask who was the president who led us through WWII. Then it is changed to Who was the great president who led us through WWII. then it is becomes who was the greatest president of the 20th century. next thing you know anyone who is not a FD/ new deal supporter or at least pretends to be will not be allowed to vote. And then the people that pretended to be an FDR supporter but then voted for a presidential candidate that wanted to privatize SS will be called into questioning for fraud because they claimed they thought the New deal was great but were actually lying.

My point to sum it up is, do not think of new laws in the hands of your favorite politicians. Think of how it will be used by your least favorite politicians. If you do not like the idea, it is probably not a good law.

Don't worry. Even though I would like you to worry since it would mean the defeat of Bush, but he only people that would be so easily swayed by Moore's opinion are the same people that make up the 50% of the population that doesn't vote. Who cares if they are swayed by hollywood? Its not like they honestly care enough about the issues to spend the hour it takes to vote.

Just watch, I'll bet 90% of the celebrities that went to the opening of this movie won't even take the time to drop a ballot in the box.

Hollywood need to stick to reading scripts. Most of them cannot speak anyway nor have a clue what the hell they are talking about. They are soooo used to having someone tell them what to say, how to say it, when to say it, where to stand, what to wear, when to sleep, when to wake - shall I go on? So we are talking about people whose whole lives are scheduled by other people.
These people have no idea what is going on in the world outside their studios. Listening to them is like listening to a comedian only they are serious!

Take the halfwit actress who stood there before a camera at some awards show and told the interviewer she was voting for the Kerry/Bush team. When the person told her there was no such team she frowned and thought deeply and then answered she was voting the way everyone else was. Typical Hollywood follow the leader because I have no brain attitude...which is why they act for a living. True they make millions but that is because of us not them.

So for those Hollywoods I advise, stick to the script. We know you are stupid (most of you anyway) no need to prove it by opening your silicone injected lips.

Oh and get a tummy tuck, and a face lift while your at it...I hate to see you in wrinkles you old crows!

If they were supporting Bush, you guys would not have a care in the world. They have views, educated views, and they want o express them, that is thier right. You don't agree, you don't listen, real easy.

Your right. The more people who vote, the worst off Bush is going to do. Lets hope everyone gets out to express themselves, and allow the American people to actually get to choose their future, unlike the last election.

Gore won the popular vote. But Florida republicans decided that wasn't good enough for them.

While your facts have been disputed, there is no doubt what the constitution says about electoral votes.

You don't have to like it, unfortunately since you're not a US citizen you can't even do anything about it. Unless of course, you would want Americans coming to Canada telling you how your country should be run, for instance; Sharia law, immigration, borders, blah blah blah

Your right, there is nothing I can do. But I can still have an opinion.

And we do have americans telling us what to do. Pat Buchanan to name one.

They will try to influence this election anyway they can.

Moore is just the tip of the derranged iceberg.

I just watched some of the MTV Movie Awards, of course there was Bush bashing, God it was sickening. Never seen so many empty heads in one room before.

This is what makes me so ashamed of my generation, we won't even hear Bush out, just believe whatever derranged socialist like Moore shouve down their throats.

THIS KIND OF SHIT REALLY PISSES ME OFF.

I swear you should have to take a test on this country's history and current events in order to be able to vote.

How much do you all think these pyschos will influence this election?

Why were you even watching MTV to begin with?

That channel is fucked up. I won't go near it. I have it programmed OUT of my channel line up.

Kathianne was just pointing out that the reasoning behind your opinion was flawed.

The popular vote is not how the President is elected! Gore was the one that asked for select county recounts not Florida republicans.
