Public Schools Destroy Hearts and Minds

Since kids no longer learn in schools maybe they should be shut down. Think of the money that would be saved, and yet the students with money can still attend private schools. The kids with money will soon be our new leaders.

What the op is asking for is for the lower class to be without any education as he is so anti-government that doesn't give a damn. It is scary.

I nowhere in my opening post stated "the lower class" (insulting) should be without an education. I personally homeschool because it is the best method of teaching my son to think for himself and to use reason and logic in his life decisions. Teaching my son to analyze and to question things, instead of accepting what he is told and following the herd, will better prepare him for a future in this world. He will know when he is being bullshitted and when he is dealing with non thinking people.

Prior to government taking over the indoctrinating of your children by forcing them into public schools, childrens educations were far superior to what we have today.

Public schooling is the most obvious act of Socialism that exists in this country today, yet so many know so little they cannot see it. The first act of the child being trained to be a socialist is to have them stand every morning and swear allegiance to a flag that represents its government. The kid doesn't know what s/he is doing or why s/he is doing it, only that s/he has to do it or s/he wont be part of the group.

Side note: The Pledge of Allegiance was written by Francis Julius Bellamy, a socialist. Do you think maybe he knew what he was doing?

You personally homeschool because it is the best method of teaching your son to think like you and keep him from other concepts he may favor and embrace - for himself. I agree about the The Pledge of Allegiance however; it's the type of chant and indoctrination cults and totalitarian systems employ.

I don't teach my son to think like me, I give him the time and resources to think for himself. Not a unique concept, but one schooling has gotten away from. Public schools, most private schools and religious schools do not teach the child to think - they teach the child to obey and believe.

Most people can't home school
Most people CAN"t Afford a private school

When even a African country or piss poor country can afford to have public school for all their poor. WTF are you trying to say for our nation?

That is a cop out. With the technology we have, the internet access and a couple of hours a day, any kid can be homeschooled and come out far ahead of any public education.

The best concentration camps in the world are the public schools.

It is in the schools that the children are taught to concentrate their minds on collectivism; It is in the schools that the child is taught to worship their country and their government and to become "patriots"; It is in the schools that the child is first taught to ignore their religions and their consciences and love their country above their families and their individuality; It is in the schools that bright minds become the minds of parroting puppets where what they are taught to believe to be true is more important than what their young hearts actually know to be true; It is in the schools that the minds are rotted and all that is holy is traded for all that is agreeable to the group; It is in the schools where the heart becomes hardened and the mind becomes confused and controlled.

It is in the schools where true freedom dies.

:lmao:

There is no sense in your comments. What expertise regarding education do you bring to the discussion? What evidence? Anything?

Anarchy is an ideology and ideologies are hard to define in just one word.

Anarchy is an ideology and ideologies are hard to define in just one word.

And yet we have loads of people on such forums who will do just that.

You just said true freedom dies in schools. Very few works for something that isn't easy to define. However you could have attempted to answer my question instead of passing it off.

I could say, "Yes, true freedom is anarchy", but then I would have to define an interpretation of anarchy that would make it so.
I would need to justify the statement that "true freedom is anarchy" and I think it is impossible to do that and make it inclusive of every definition of anarchy in a few short paragraphs, if at all.

I did say, "It is in the schools where true freedom dies." By that I meant individuality is taken from the individual and a collectivist mindset is instilled. The belief in authority starts in the schools and stays with the collectivist until they either wake up to the fact that they are an individual who has a right to self ownership or they die.

True freedom is to own yourself and your actions and to be responsible for what you do or say. True freedom is not being controlled by other human beings. When others control you, you are not free - you are a slave.
