All career politicians do not have the best interest of the country of mind... factThe GOP are cowards. Period. Why no support for repeal then? Don't worry, you don't have to answer if you're not feeling up to it.There is no vindication for a bill that is imploding before your very eyes. To think there is just shows how stupid you are.
Agreed. I dare them to fully repeal the ACA with no replacement. They promised that for 8 years, and they're pussies if they don't.The GOP are cowards. Period. Why no support for repeal then? The GOP are no different than any other career politicians, all cowards.Agreed. I dare them to fully repeal the ACA with no replacement. Look kid, the GOP does not have to repeal the ACA, all they have to do is nothing and the ACA implodes as it is doing now. There were Senators that told Trump to let this happen from the start. Again you are delusional
Nothing? No, they've already done things in the hopes of making it implode, and despite that, they'll have to do even more to get it to implode. The ball is in the GOP's court.
Obamacare should be an "opt in"... since it was forced on people that do not want it and will never use it, it's taxation without representation. FactIf Trump drops the government appeal of the court case challenging government subsidies for insurer's loses on ACA, then he owns it, and those who lose health insurance as a result will hold him responsible. The result would be the same kind a mass rejection of the GOP policies that Kansas and Louisiana have been going through. If the government pays the subsidies, ACA is not going to fail at all.
IfThe GOP's near unanimous agreement that the ACA should not be fully repealed and thus healthcare returned to its state of existence before 2009 is a complete vindication of the ACA. In this sense, the GOP acknowledges that something in the vein of the ACA was needed to address our healthcare system's problems, and unwittingly admits that the 61 times they voted for full repeal were nothing more than political stunts.
If Trump and the GOP choose to allow our healthcare system to collapse, the responsibility falls on them.
Never in a thousand years did I think I'd see the day where a sitting U.S. President openly spoke about hoping for the collapse of his constituent's healthcare, and bragged about working for that to happen. Hopefully Americans remember that come November 2018.
They've had 7 years to get their ducks lined up. Be honest, this idea of healthcare for all is against republican ideals. Unfortunately millions of Americans have now seen the light and they aren't going to give it up without a fight. The ACA was never going to implode, healthcare costs, insurance premiums, etc., have been rising for decades. The simple fact that our government is going to hinder the law of the land is proof they only care about politics, not people. It's their job to uphold the law of the land. It's that simple.I agree that it was ineptitude on the GOP's part to not have a unified front on a health care bill and an underestimation by President Trump on how difficult it is to get major legislation like this passed. The ironic thing is that this is the best case scenario politically as the Democrats will completely own all of the negative effects of the ACA implosion. Hopefully by then, the GOP has it's ducks lined up with a replacement bill.
Only AFTER Don THE Con killed the mandate and revenue streams with his EO on his first day in office. Tramp has OWNED the ACA ever since. The ACA can not be vindicated until after insurers back it, and the plan is self sustaining, and neither of these qualifications are with the ACA.
Depends on if Trump and the GOP continue trying to collapse it. There's still the chance they decide to put country before party, however unlikely it seems. The GOP's near unanimous agreement that the ACA should not be fully repealed and thus healthcare returned to its state of existence before 2009 is a complete vindication of the ACA. So you admit the ACA is going to collapse.
Tramp already imploded it his first day in office, so the GOP already DID something, and something is not nothing!!!Look kid, the GOP does not have to repeal the ACA, all they have to do is nothing and the ACA implodes as it is doing now.
He could undo that very easily, and he will if there is no compromise, he could even have the IRS collect back fines without the penalty. All very easy, one pen stroke.Only AFTER Don THE Con killed the mandate and revenue streams with his EO on his first day in office. Tramp has OWNED the ACA ever since. The ACA can not be vindicated until after insurers back it, and the plan is self sustaining, and neither of these qualifications are with the ACA.
Keep listening to CNN, remember they told you that Clinton is the prezzy lezzyTramp already imploded it his first day in office, so the GOP already DID something, and something is not nothing!!!Look kid, the GOP does not have to repeal the ACA, all they have to do is nothing and the ACA implodes as it is doing now.
Nope, Don THE Con took possession of the ACA his first day in office with this EO:The ironic thing is that this is the best case scenario politically as the Democrats will completely own all of the negative effects of the ACA implosion.
Huh? The premiums were already increasing extensively during the general election campaign, which is why Trump could toss out the increase numbers and why Bill Clinton himself too shots at the ACA. This has nothing to do with Trump, everything to do with a failed plan that is not congruent with free market capitalism. There is a middle ground to healthcare, Obamacare doesn't appear to be it.

The RINOs are cowards and i'd like to see em gone in the next election.

Yeah, the premiums skyrocketed because GOP run states refused Medicaid expansion and the GOP sabotaged funding for high risk corridors.
Republicans run everything now. They have 4 options: 1. Repeal the ACA (not going to happen because it was all a political stunt) 2. Replace the ACA (failed, because keeping the ACA was a better option) 3. Make the ACA better (can't, because it would expose them all for having lied for 8 years) 4. Work to screw Americans by collapsing the healthcare system and throwing everything into chaos (sounds great to maybe 10% of the population)
1 option that the GOP doesn't have? Blaming Democrats for whatever mess emerges after years of complete GOP control.
Well, if they are all the same, then vote for Democrats. At least with them, you'll get healthcare and education. The GOP are no different than any other career politicians, all cowards.Agreed. They don't work for the people never have… Fact
