I voted Mac's Birthday, because the guy's need for self-importance obviously needed a boost.

Seriously, though. Happy Zombie Jesus Day, everyone.

Happy Easter Joey!!!

Jesus loves EVEN you!!!

So the Bible says that Jesus let Joey get into heaven if Joey is ethical....even if Joey, say, believes in science too much to buy into the whole invisible 2000 year-old zombie who can walk on water story? Chapter/verse, please.

Easter! :)

He is RISEN

the sacrifice was made, and we are wiped clean.

Jesus loves you too even though you referred to Him as a zombie. I hope he forgives you on judgement day.

So then can you condemn him for saying in John 14:6 that the only way to the father is through him? That's over-the-top narcissism, obviously. I won't be going through him, because he's obviously a very immoral person (being a part of the "hell for non-believers" nonsense), and I'm more ethical/caring than that.

"Zombies" are those that were dead, but have now come back from the dead....so he's a zombie (allegedly.) And INVISIBLE zombies are of course less believable than regular non-invisible zombies, so Jesus is LESS believable than regular zombies are. Seems kinda risky basing someone's entire world-view on that.

Jesus is now a narcissist too? Man you really need help. Jesus is willing, but I am not.

Let me paraphrase John 14:6: Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me......it's all about ME, ME, ME!! You have to go through ME, see!! I could make it about being ethical and doing good works but I'm so self-absorbed than that so I choose to make it all about ME, ME, ME!!"

You mean the way god "forgave" virtually all humans and even animals during his barbaric "flood" where he wiped them out? THAT "Christian forgiveness"? Is that what you mean?

Tomorrow. I hope to still be alive then.
You're a Christian?
Whoa, whoa - let's not be like Jesus (who won't allow non-Christians to participate in Heaven - he sends them to hell) - instead, let's not discriminate against non-Christians here. I voted in the poll, and I'm unscientific enough to be a Christian.
God loves humor. He created it.
He also then created cancer - what a prick he is - not worth my worship. I don't FEAR like you do.

If you are going to blame Him for all the bad things, don't you think you should give Him credit for all of the good things too?

But why does he keep creating the bad things like cancer in children?

Actually, I don't. The only references we have to him are other writers.

The only evidence we have that Marilyn Monroe ever existed is the writings and work of other persons. She never published any works of her own. Her autobiography was ghost written. Fictional character?

On the other had, there isn't a single contemporary reference to Jesus. His alleged acts weren't put down on paper until more than a century after his death. Details about the life of Socrates can be derived from three contemporary sources.

No, we have pictures, films, biographies written by people who lived at the same time, documentation of her birth and death.

Socrates, all we have is that Plato wrote about him. He might have just been a literary device. Kind of like Jesus was a literary device for Saul of Tarses.

All of whom write of him in a poetic, not literal sense.

ocrates, all we have is that Plato wrote about him

Untrue ... there are the writings of Plato, the plays of Aristophanes, and the writings of Xenophon ... all contemporaries of Socrates ... detail his life and writings quite extensively.

"Thallus (52AD)
Thallus is perhaps the earliest secular writer to mention Jesus and he is so ancient his writings don’t even exist anymore. But Julius Africanus, writing around 221AD does quote Thallus who previously tried to explain away the darkness occurring at Jesus’ crucifixion:

“On the whole world there pressed a most fearful darkness; and the rocks were rent by an earthquake, and many places in Judea and other districts were thrown down. This darkness Thallus, in the third book of his History, calls, as appears to me without reason, an eclipse of the sun.” (Julius Africanus, Chronography, 18:1)

If only more of Thallus’ record could be found, we might find more confirmation of Jesus’ crucifixion. But there are some things we can conclude from this account: Jesus lived, He was crucified, and there was an earthquake and darkness at the point of His crucifixion."
